QOTD 1/28/10

Are you having any say in your bachelorette party? Are you telling them where to make it? If it's out of state how would you feel if some BM's can't make it???

My BM's and MOH already asked me what I wanted and I told them a bunch of time I don't care if it's one nigh or a long weekend. (that's what all my cousins did b/c people were from out of town. ) All I know is they decided on a thur- Sunday one which is good bc FSIL is from Fla and one BM is from MD. Then they asked me where? I said either in driving distance or FLA b.c a lot of my cousins are down there. Now MOH in a 'wine' moment spilled that it might be Vegas b/c a lot of them want to go!! That would be awesome!!!!!! I personally really don't care though. What ever it ends up being I know I will have an amazing unforgettable night with my girls. As for if one of them cant come due to money issues I totally understand. I know they except to be in wedding party's but if they can't afford a out of state trip I defiantly would not hold that against them! Besides the most important thing is that they are there when I marry Steve!

I've already discussed with my BP that I don't want a crazy B-Party and that I do want to be involved in the planning of it. I want a one night out thing in the city (no strippers involved). I would like to go eat somewhere inexpensive (Caliente Cab Company perhaps for some mexican... oo yeah) and then head on down to the village for some good ol fashion bar hopping and maybe some flip cup and beer pong. I don't even want people to get all dressed up. I just want to have a great time hanging out with all my girls and getting as drunk as possible LOL.

I am, as a side thing to have a 'bach party' with the ladies in my family, planning a weekend getaway to AC or Foxwoods for a spa weekend. I've already asked my mom, aunts, cousins, and SIL if they were down for doing something like that and they are all very excited about it! I haven't decided if I am going to included the BP in this (although 2 of them are my cousins and are going) but I will figure that out later. I wanted to be a sort fo family thing.

I'm pretty sure my BP knows that I want a complete sh*t show for my bachelorette party - but that just goes along w/ my really out going and upfront personality

But I haven't discussed any plans and I don't think I will have much involvement in it - i trust them. My maid of honor is up in Buffalo and I have a BM that lives in Rhode Island so of course I want them there - i do have some friends from college that live out of state too.

It's important to me to have the BP there - i feel its your responsiblity for the shower and the bachelorette to be at those things as a BM - but that's just my opinion.

I want a night out in the city. Limo. Go to a few bars, a great dinner then dancing. NO STRIPPERS.

OR

Wine tasting on the North Fork, then go to Shelter Island and back to Greenport for some silly dancing at Claudio's.

I don't really care either way, but my only requirement is NO STRIPPERS.

I told my sister (MOH) and BMs different ideas. Wineries, Lips or Lucky Chengs. I've also been thinking maybe Fire Island.

I def will have a part in it.

HAHA I have my MOH and one BM that I know will be planning the whole thing. My MOH knows I want no part in strippers, and that I don't want a huge spectacle that will financially burden anyone. On the other hand, this specific BM wants me to have strippers, and go somewhere crazy like Vegas or Mexico for 4 nights. Honestly, the Fh and I have an agreement that Vegas is a place that the two of us have to go together (I'm a bit of a crazed maniac and wouldn't trust my grandma in Vegas lol). Anyway, it should be interesting as to the compromise they come up with!
Me, personally, i want a night or two in AC, or somewhere like Florida. I want to hang out with my girls in a hotel room, dress up, go to a nice dinner, and then drink like the classy animals that we are!!!! (thats my beer icon)

I'm giving my sister MOH full control. All I want is a limo everything else I can careless as long as its fun, drama free and doesn't cost everyone and arm and a leg.

As soon as I told friends I was engaged they got excited for a bachlorette party. I had to break it to them that FH and I wanted a joint party. Either party bus or weekend away.

It was our personal decision and thought we'd have more fun this way. I can't stand male strippers

So if they pull a surprise party with a male stripper for me, i will NOT be a happy camper. They are worse than clowns! eeeek

My whole bridal part if underage except for my MOH. Haha. So we will prob be doing a spa weekend and I'll invite my Mom, aunts, cousins, etc. as well. Definitely No Strippers (for me or the little ones )!

My friends and i have done 2 bachelorette parties on FI - SOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!! We rented a house for the weekend for both of them and it was such a great time!!! I totally reccomend this!!!

I told my sister (MOH) a little bit about what I want. I think I want to go to the Hamptons for the weekend or the north fork. I want to lay on the beach and go wine tasting and to some fun beach bars. However, the second I told everyone I was engaged, all of my friends wanna go to Vegas. LOL I have a friend who lives in Vegas, so they are all about this right now. We'll see though. I really would be happy with anything.
