Hey ladies!

Today's question is about music choices for the wedding reception (whether or not you have already booked a DJ )

What are five songs that are on your 'must play' list for your wedding reception?

1. 'Shout' by the Isley Brothers
2. 'Runaround Sue' by Dion- just classic lol
3. 'Livin' on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi
4. 'Birthday' by the Beatles- our wedding day also happens to be my birthday and my brother's.
5. 'Don't Stop Believing' by Journey- we're thinking about choosing this for the last song of the night!

I love BSB! I felt like a total teenybopper when I went to the NKOTBSB concert.

ha, must play list? I plan on giving my DJ an 'ONLY PLAY' list, mostly b/c I'm a crappy music lover and FH could probably care less what is played. But ok, just 5

1. Grease Mega-Mix - We're getting all sweet 16 up in this!!
2. Macarena - For real!
3. Something by NKOTB
4. Runaround Sue
5. Apple Bottom Jeans

4. Anything Madonna
5. Dean Martin - Love old school Italian music

I haven't thought much about the must play list but after reading these post 'Don't Stop Believing' will definitely be on there! My plan was to just let the DJ feel the room for whatever the crowd likes. Whatever keeps people dancing is fine by me! Haha

We haven't thought about it a lot yet we only picked out the songs we are dancing with our parent's to. We don't even know what we are dancing too. But I do know.
1) Bon Jovi Living on a prayer (it's like my theme song to my life)
2) Don't stop believing by Journey
3) I got a feeling by BEP
4) ho hey by lumineers
5) little talks by monsters of men

Not much SONGS that are must haves.. but some must have bands:

1. Queen
2. Journey
3. Reel Big Fish (this band is also who our wedding song is by)
4. Ozzy
5. Any Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra... The Ratpack.. that kinda stuff :)

FH is kind of a music snob so he's going to be handling most of it.

hmm... its funny because i am feeling VERY picky about the musical selection and trying to talk myself out of it bc at the end of the day the guests need to be dancing not just me!

necessary songs?
1.ho hey - the lumineers (saw someone else posted that too!)
2. FH loves frankie valli
3. tegan and sara (my fav band)
4. for the longest time - billy joel (a song i danced with my sister to at her sweet 16)
5. monie monie (some people call me monie so its usually dedicated to me!)

i feel like it would be easier to have a no play list haha.

Oh gosh, we haven't really thought of this yet! But my guess is definitely:

1. When I See You Smile - Bad English
2. I'm Yours - Jason Mraz
3. Who Let the Dogs Out - Baha Men (for FH's mom!)
4. Isn't She Lovely - Stevie Wonder
5. Don't Stop Believin (for my sorority sisters in attendance)
