QOTD 2/21/14

Happy Friday!!! What a long week! I need a vacation! But I am trying to save my time for a nice long and relaxing honeymoon! So while I am dreaming about going on a vacation I guess today we can talk about plans for the honeymoon.

Do you know where you are going for your honeymoon? How many days? What are some of the things you want to do on your honeymoon... besides the obvious LOL…

FH and I are still researching some different ideas. Right now we are thinking of going to one of the all inclusive resorts like maybe one of the Sandals ( St. Lucia) or going on a cruise. Our wedding is on a Saturday and we don’t want to go on the next day. We want a few days to unwind and everything. We were also thinking of flying to Miami the Wednesday after our wedding and staying at a hotel for a few nights. Then that Saturday there is a cruise out of Miami to St. Thomas, Tortola and Nassau, Bahamas on the Norwegian Getaway. If we do one of the Sandals resorts… we would love to have one of those rooms where you walk right out to the pool. Def. want to find a fun ziplining excursion for us to do on our honeymoon… a nice dinner on the beach… couples massage… and just relaxing!

If any of you ladies can recommend a good travel agent please let me know. I have this one lady who is constantly sending me mail… facebook messages…emails etc. and I told her I will contact her if I want to use her and she just continues to send me stuff… very pushy! But FH works with her husband and I am trying to be nice LOL Have a great day !

**QOTD 2/21/14 - Long Island Weddings**

FH and I have been talking about doing 2-3 weeks in Greece and Italy for our Honeymoon. Since I am a teacher we wont be able to go away right after we get married, we will be traveling at the end of the school year. Nothing has been booked yet.... I think we will really start looking into that this summer. :)

We haven't decided yet.. there's too many options! If money were no object, we would probably do an African Safari then some time in Seychelles. But we most likely can't afford that so have been throwing around ideas such as Europe, Bora Bora, a Cruise or just somewhere in the Caribbean (perhaps the Sandals Antigua resort). Who knows.. Looking forward to seeing everyone elses responses so I can get some ideas!

We are doing Sandals St Lucia... Our travel agent (which I'll get back to you Christine his name, he's awesome family uses him for everything) said to fly out the next day we would have to take a flight first thing to have a non stop flight and I don't want to have that stress the day after so we'll fly out the Tuesday after we get married... And we plan to go for 7 days

I have a million ideas lol I think it's been narrowed to Costa Rica, negril Jamaica, Nassau Bahamas, Aruba, or Santo Domingo DR!
I've heard Costa Rica is the cheaper Hawaii. We went to runaway bay Jamaica last Jan for my 30th and didn't get to do everything and we loved it. We also went to the Bahamas on a cruise but I personally don't like cruises bc I feel like your experiences the cruise more than the island.

We would love to do a cruise but most cruises leave on Saturdays and of course our wedding is on a Saturday!! Not sure what we are going to do!
