**QOTD 2/25/2014**

Hi ladies,

I loved reading your responses yesterday!

Today... lets get lovey dovey, and super mushy and talk about the BIG L word!

I am the type who keeps their guard up for a while and my FH has a hard exterior but is a big ol' mush ball inside. So when we first started dating I had a feeling he would be the first one to drop the L word. I actually laugh now at how he did it. We started dating in November 2008 and in February 2009 on Valentine's Day he sent me a huge bouquet of flowers. I lived at home at the time, so my mom was all like 'awww Kellie how sweet...read the card out loud, read the card out loud!' So standing in my kitchen, with my mom I read the little card attached to my flowers out loud. The card read 'Kellie, You have my whole heart. I love you! Happy Valentine's Day'. Of course I was freaking out and my mom was like 'Holy Cow how romantic!!' haha! I wasn't expecting him to say it yet, and I definitely wasn't expecting it like that. It was a wonderful surprise! And I still have the card to this day. Cute little reminder to look at from time to time.

(side note: I made the poor guy wait a little longer for me to say it back!! lmao! Whoops!)

So ladies...who said I love you first? And how did it go down?

It's actually kind of funny. Since FH & I were so young when we started 'going out' he told me it was 'LUV'. I would say after we were together for about a month he told me he loved me. Gotta remember we were 16 & 17. LOL

LOL! I would have made him wait a little to hear it back too haha.

I am pretty sure I was the one to imply it first which in turn made him say the actual 'I love you' first. See how I did that? LOL A little bait and switch action haha.

**QOTD 2/25/2014** - Long Island Weddings

FH and I were only were 17 when we met and we together maybe 3 months. I had went to NC with my parents to go check out some colleges and he texted me that he missed and loved me. I only texted back miss you too! It wasn't until a few weeks later that he actually said it to me and I said it back to him lol

FH was the one who said it first. He called me at 12:30 am on Christmas Day to wish me a Merry Christmas and was plastered. He was rambling about something and said he didn't want me to think that he was a moron because he was drunk and that he loved me. Then he passed out. It wasn't til New Year's Eve at midnight as the ball dropped that he said it face to face.

our 3 year anniversary is actually today! soo 3 years ago today....hehe I met FH off a dating website.. a few days later i was told my mom didn't have much longer to be with us and a few months after that i was told the same thing with my dad (they were both battling cancer for many many years)after being through so much on July 12 the day of my moms funeral I told him I loved him and of course he said i love you too along with a lovey dovey speech about the past months :). today im so happy to be marrying him and that at least he got to meet my parents before they passed on

Holly, I am so, so sorry for your loss. I believe everything happens in life for a reason, and your FH was definitely put in your life at that time for a reason.

I hope you two have a very Happy Anniversary!!!

I am not sure who said it first.... FH and I have a funny start to our relationship.... we didn't like each other at first and to quote FH he thought I was a 'loser' when we first met, soon we became friends, then we were 'friends', then we started dating others, then we started dating and it didn't take long until we said I love you. I think he said it first and that was only because he was wasted and out of town with friends. I loved that midnight phone call. The best was, he said it and then dropped his phone and it broke. I didn't get to speak to him again for a few days.

Wow I guess I'll be the first....it was me, I.said it first! And it took fh a long time to say it back. He is very very guards. Idk when I said it and how long after I said it did he say it but I do remember when he said it. Fh mother was in hospice and him and his bothers were taking turns saying with her. He got the over night I told him I would do anything he wanted he told me he wanted me to stay with him there over night. So over course I did. We didn't get much sleep so as the sun was raising we were taking our long ride back to his apt and he turns to me and says u know even though I don't say it I love you right? I want you too know I couldn't do this would it thank you so much for being with me and I want you too know that I really do love you.

This is very sweet! I know how u feel I'm glad I got to meet and know fh mother. And I'm glad my grandmother knew fh and that we were going to get married before she passed!

We were in 7th grade! Oh my god that was a long time ago lol I don't remember who said it first but we said it really early on.. Young stupid and no idea what it even meant lol. Now look at us, all grown up.. Can we go back please to when life was simple and it was scandalous that we held hands in the hallway?

FH said it first...i don't remember exactly when he said it but was during our first fight lol he said he didn't mean to blurt it out like that then and there it just sort of happened. I was shocked and my response back was 'you love me?' The fight ended pretty quickly after that even though I waited like 2 more months to say it back lol
