QOTD 2/12/09 Late night

Well girls its fashion week in New York and I staffed two fashion shows today. I stood on concrete for 5 hours straight in 4 inch heels.....needless to say I am SO TIRED....

My question is what do you do with your FH to connect?

Do you do connect daily on an emotional level?
How do you commincate when you are exhausted or keep a healthy dialogue going?

I am so pooped!!!!

I don't live with FH, so I don't see him every day. So for us, we talk on AIM, every night. It's an immature relationship in that sense, like we're in middle school...but it's all we can do at this point in time, so we have to make it work. So we just say I love you a lot as we're talking, and use the kissy face...it's stupid, but unfortunately it's that or nothing most of the time.

When we do see each other, we hold hands, constantly touch. The closeness helps us stay connected because we don't always get to be close.

When we're exhausted, we don't try to fight it...we don't need to be speaking to stay connected or communicate. We just lay down on our makeshift bed on the floor in the basement, made of comforters, blankets, and a sleeping bag, cuddle up, and nap together. It might sound strange...but it keeps us very connected to each other.

Sometimes I think we're 12 year olds that are sneaking around LOL.

What do we do to connect?? Every day whenever the first one leaves we make sure to kiss the other one goodbye and say I love you...we text each other sporadically..and we make sure to get a couple of minutes of hug time once a day..

We commit to always stay connected to each other.

When we're exhausted we make sure we let each other know how we're feeling and when we need time space, rest, etc.

we r verrrry goofy people we like to joke around alot(if u cant tell by now) so yes we have our serious times if we need but our basic form of communication is him farting and me going dude what u eat?
