In light of Valentine’s Day, we will have two questions today.
1.) What are your plans for tonight?
2.) What do YOU do to keep the romance alive? What are the little things that you do for your FH to remind him every day that you love and adore him? Please share your secrets!!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
FH and I normally do not do anything extravagant for Valentine’s Day. We love each other every day! Since we are prepping for a wedding, we are going to make dinner tonight (Steamed Crab Legs, Salad, and Shrimp Alfredo Pasta) with something sweet for dessert. I got him a nice card, his favorite chocolate, and Citi Field Tour tickets.
Romance is a two way street, so I try my best to show FH that I appreciate everything he does for me. Here are a few little things that I do – I send FH cute text messages throughout the day, when I pack his lunch I include a note (yes, I know this is cheesy), and I try to plan fun and interesting date nights. We are a very affectionate couple, so we always hug and kiss hello and good-bye. Cuddling time is a must!
Here is my #1 secret to keeping the romance alive…I wear nightgowns to bed! I always try to wear sexy or cute PJs to bed (unless I’m sick or PMSing).

Good questions! I think wearing something cute to bed is a great idea!
Since I'm in DC & FH is on LI we're not doing anything tonight, but we did send each other cards. I get in late Friday night, but maybe we'll do something Saturday after we look at a few venues (The Metropolitan, Royalton Mansion, and the North Ritz Club).
I remember one of my friends saying getting engaged renews your relationship & it's bliss..... I didn't know what she was talking about until December 25, but now I do. I really feel closer to FH & even though we're not together I feel very connected. I always text FH telling him I'm still in shock he engaged me.

Re: ~*~*~ QOTD 2/14/2012 ~*~*~ Happy Valentine's Day
So I'm late to this party -
Actually we celebrated early on last Friday. I treated us out to The Melting Pot for dinner (which was amazing) followed a romantic candle lit evening at his apartment that included a massage for me.
My plan tonight was to head over FH's after work for a homecooked dinner. He made an amazing baked ziti with a bit of wine, and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert. He also bought me roses (my favorite flower, i know, how original).
I had other plans - purchased him a sexy Valentine's Day card and well the evening got interesting
The last few nights have been awesome. Romance flame on high !

What do you think your surprise is???
Yay!! I was right! It WAS hibachi! Sooo yummy and our chef was hysterical & a nut job with his saki shots for all of the girls sitting in front of his grill.
We also wound up going after to a place we went to on our 2nd (but 1st official-official) date--a cute little pub/bar near his house.
My fiance' bought me flowers (white chrysanthemums & 1 red gerbera daisy! My favorite/our wedding flower!) & we exchanged gifts.
Such a great night!!
Btw, my fiance' is sooo excited for the citi field tour..... awesome find! Thank your that, Erika!!

Fh and I went to a fundraiser for cooleys anemia on Saturday night in staten island at nicoras ballroom. Bc of the cost we decided this will be our traditional valentines day gift to one another. Fh cousin has the diesese and to support a foundation w our love is a great feeling.
To keep the spice, I agree I never go to bed 'fugly' lol and always brush my teeth before he wakes up. Lol I leave him notes and tell him often how much I appreciate him. I send seductive texts and call him in the middle of the night bc he works midnights just to tell him I had a dream about him.
