Since I have been at my office since 6:45 this morning, today's question of the day is about work. What is your biggest pet peeve of your job?

Mine has to be meetings! I hate when people schedule meetings to talk about future needs for meetings! In fact, today's meeting goes from 9:30 to 3... who ever thought that was a good idea?!?!

A decision is made after much discussion. A key staff person, who had nothing to say during the process, decides to question and tear holes in the decision after its already been implemented.

I am basically the only 'office employee' I hate when the sales people come in and yell that we are 'soo' behind... I want to say 'then shut up and help me ! ' but I cant BOO for being the bosses daughter or else I would have quit haha!

My biggest pet peeve about my job is how many people are involved in one given task. I spend so much time in my day waiting for someone else to complete part of a job. I rather just do everything on my own to get it done. In fact, when we have interns in the summer I almost never ask them for help unless it's filing.

Being micro-managed by an administration that has no idea what they are doing. Like please don't send out an agreement in which you demand us not to drink coffee while we are teaching but yet you provide ZERO materials for our kids to pass state tests. Ughhhhh!!!

Where do I begin... Billing, partners, crazy claims examiners, PITA plaintiffs attorneys, writing deposition reports, etc. ...mainly billing though is #1

Lazy people that have a light patient load that dont help when your drowning with your assignment.

Parents who make ridicuous demands, students who don't realize we're human, administration calling my classroom in the middle of a lesson to ask if I have another pair of shoes for a student whose shoes broke, colleagues who do not pulling their weight but stir the pot every chance they get, a city mayor who has tried to vilify my profession whenever he has a chance, a community who believes I go in to work at 8, come home at 2 and my job is done and I get summers off and I am over paid.

Pretty much everything about my job gets on my nerves these days but probably the worst thing is my incompetent boss.

I really love my job. I do speech therapy with children birth-5 yrs, therefore I go into their homes a lot to work with their parents. I really hate when the parents aren't home when I show up or when the house is dirty. Every once in a while I go into a house that totally skeeves me out.

Mine has to be that there isn't much consistence...one day its ok to put a patient in at 3:45 on a Friday....next week the Dr 'wants to get out of the office'...can he make up his mind so patients don't think I am a lier?
