~*~*~ QOTD 2/16/2012 ~*~*~

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a happy Thursday!

Last night, I went to see The Vow with a few girlfriends. It was a very cute and romantic movie. Have you watched it yet?

Of course I cried, I always cry at these types of movies. I am such a sucker for romantic movies. This past Sunday I had a Nicholas Sparks crying movie marathon. I watched The Notebook, The Last Song and Dear John. You need a good cry every now and again.

Here’s our QOTD:

What is your favorite “crying” movie to watch?

I have 2 movies that get me every time – The Notebook and Steel Magnolias, with Julia Roberts and Sally Field.

FH doesn’t understand it though. Every time he sees me watching a “crying” movie, he leaves the room immediately.

I don't cry often at movies but the one that made me completely sob was 'The Time Traveler's Wife'.. OMG! I read the book, sobbed through it, then watched the movie.. and FH made fun of me the whole time.. Too bad he admitted a while back that he saw it by himself again and got a little emotional as well.

All Nicholas Sparks books make me sob!! But the movies don't always..probably because I already know what is coming. LOL. They have a new one coming out soon! I saw the preview while watching The Vow!

I don't know, I can't remember the last time I cried at the end of a movie. I'm really emotional, but I just haven't watched many of those types of movies lately - FH hates them.

He's never seen The Notebook (and refuses) and won't go see The Vow.

As for a love story movie we watch repeatedly though, it's Ever After.

I always cry during the part in Sex and the City when Carrie jumps out of the Limo and hits Big with the roses.

I definitely agree with our BOTW... The Notebook and Steel Magnolias, with Julia Roberts and Sally Field, they do make me cry!

I rarely go to the movies or watch any at home. I'm a BIG cry baby. Movies that have made me bawl my eyes out: The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, Pearl Harbor (lol), and the saddest recently was the animated movie 'Up!'. The whole beginning with his wife. OMG saddest thing ever.

I'm a big cry baby and can cry very easily. I can't remember any recent movies that I've watched that made me cry.

Here a few movies that have made me cry in the past; 'Pay It Forward', 'I A Sam', 'A Walk To Remember', 'Antwone Fisher', 'Ladder 49', and 'Up Close and Personal'.

I cry over everything. I am such a baby
biggest tear movies for me;

Titanic, Pearl Harbor, any Holocaust movie (really any movie that retells a tragic historic event)
Every episode of My Fair Wedding
My Girl
The Notebook
A Walk to Remember (ok- every Nicholas Sparks book & movie)
Brokedown Palace
Rain Man (and most movies with people with disabilities)
Ghost
Ladder 49 (and most firefighter movies)
Lion King (and any other disney films where a parent dies)

Probably #1 tearjerker;
Waiting for Superman (and, of course, any other education documentary)

Yea..that narrowed it down
