QOTD: How did you find your wedding dress and how many people did you bring when you went shopping for it?
Before I headed to the stores, I bought a million magazines(no exaggeration LOL) & basically got an idea of what style I wanted. To avoid having too many opinions, I only invited 3 people (my cousin and 2 BFF;s) who I trusted for their honest opinions. I made about 3 appts and found 'the one' at the 3rd store I tex tmessaged my mom and sister the dress and they solidified my decision :)
Sorry folks!! I posted this to the wrong board. Not sure how that happened LOL

I went on line and did a ton of research p,us bought magazines. I narrowed it down to like 10 dresses printed the pictures and started calling places to see who had the most if the dress I wanted to try on. The 1st two trips were me and my mom and then when it was down to 3 I brought my sister and daughter to help make the final decision.

I saw one Maggie dress online, at least, a year before I had gotten engaged and I just knew that would be the dress. As soon as I did get engaged, I just had to see the dress and I HATED it!!!! The salesperson saw how disappointed I was and she pulled another dress and that turned out to be my dress.

I bought the max of three ppl with me. 1bm 1moh and my mom I printed out a few ideas of the dresses I wanted but none of them looked good on me. I found my dress as I gave up and was about to walk out the door. The sales woman bought out a dress and said WAIT..give this one a try..and sure enough it was the DRESS!!

I knew the style I wanted, but went with an open mind. As soon as we walked in I saw a gorgeous dress that was the exact style I wanted. Tried it on first, fell in love and every dress after that didn't compare.
I went with my mom and two sisters.
