I love shopping! Like a lot. And especially Spring shopping...

Have you had to give up anything for sake of the wedding budget?

If you haven't already guessed I can't go shopping until after the wedding for anything non-wedding related ... which of course means I try to justify that everything I buy is wedding related (new workout clothes to get in shape for the wedding etc)...

Sounds silly but...I've stopped buying lunch and coffee out everyday and now bring it to work with me..never realized what a savings that would be.

I would definitely say shopping for myself and getting my nails done.

I have always been good with money so not much I needed to cut down on. We don't go out to dinner as much but I find it more helpful for our diets. So much healthier eatting my cooking (I don't have enough will power to say no to fries).

I also cut down on shopping :( we dont go out to eat as often or go to sports games and stuff like that. We also dont go out drinking to bars or stuff like that anymore. We usually just have people over in our house to try and save $$

I try to bring lunch more, cook dinner more, and not hang out in the city so much.

we never really went crazy with shopping, and a few bills got paid off right before we started saving so it worked out well :)
i could use some new jeans tho... LOL

I stopped getting my nails and eyebrows done. Which seriously stinks because I look like a hot mess. I also don't shop for myself at all unless it has something to do with the wedding. I dont buy lunch at work and try to eat at home. It blows but it's worth it!

Bringing lunch to work to save from buying and coffee as well.

Not buying nearly as many clothes or going out to dinner as much. Not taking many short trips either!

saving on everything! we are really even trying to plan 2 small vacations before the wedding which sounds crazy but we'll bring the honeymoon budget down a bit :-X

I cut back on shopping, eating out, and manicures. I bring my lunch to work pretty much every day and we only go out to dinner once or twice a month now (used to be at least twice a week). We also have not taken any big vacations since we got engaged, only took some smaller long weekend type trips over the past year to count as our 'vacations'.

The biggest thing I've given up is going on vacations I usually take about 2 or 3 trips a year. I caved and went away last summer though to Cabo, I couldn't take it. But nothing else until the HM. At this point, I think I'm looking fwd to the HM more than the wedding!

Great question! I've barely bought anything once our one year mark hit! I can't wait to shop again!
