Besides your engagement ring, what was the best gift your fh ever got you?

hmm...ok i'm gonna get corny on you guys
my favorite gift he got me was this book he made me for our anniversary. our anniversary is 3/23 so he made me a book of 323 memories of us and then he included pics of random things that involved the number 323 like he took pics of license plates that had that number, gas prices that said 3.23, money that equaled $3.23, a scale that read 323.

it was really so sweet and creative and i LOVED it

fh is pretty good at gifts....i would say my favorite is the diamond necklace he got me 2 christmas' ago or the david yurman ring for our last anniversary

I hate flying!!!!!

FH surprised me by flying, and driving 8 hours to me, so that i would not have to fly home alone.

Fh bought me the Louis Vuitton Neverful bag as a gift for graduating. I am obsessed with bags so was really happy to get a new bag.

When we were planning to move in together we had gone to target and picked out rubber duckey bath stuff. On the day we found out we got out apartment he went and bought me the rubber duckey garbage pail to cheer me up since I was having a bad day.

Mine is a toss-up between 3 things:

1. On our first date, we were at a pool hall and Aerosmith's 'Angel' came on over the sound system. I got so excited and started singing along. He left to go to the bathroom, and at the end of the night when I went to pull my wallet out, I noticed that he had put the Aerosmith 'Big Ones' CD in my purse (which of course had Angel on it). 9 years later, I still have the CD.

2. When we first started dating, I got really sick one day. I worked in a doctor's office at the time and he came to visit me at work after braving through a snow and ice storm. Despite the fact that I worked in a doctor's office and had full access to any type of medicine, he surprised me with a box of DayQuil, a box of NyQuil, and a 24K golden dipped rose.

3. Finally, there was one day (again at the beginning of our relationship) where he came over and surprised me with Boston Market macaroni and cheese after a conversation earlier that day about how much I love it.

He's given me diamonds, gold, and electronics, but besides my e-ring, those are by far the best.

i agree, i like the sentimental little gifts, i feel like it shows they really listen and are in tune with who you are

For our first xmas after dating for 4 months he gave me diamond stud earrings, which i love, but then two years later right before xmas i lost one and cried because i loved them, so for xmas that year he bought me a replacement pair-which i love tooo

OK, the backstory is that I am obsessed with the NY Yankees. When I was 8, I dressed up as Yogi Berra (great Yankees catcher) for Halloween. This year for my bday, FH got me an autographed picture of Yogi in the World Series. He has a ton of Mets stuff (boo!) in the condo I'm going to move into after the wedding, so he thought it would be nice for me to have something too.

It sounds weird and dorky, but I thought it was adorable.

he got me depression glass from ebay as a christmas gift because i love collecting it.. He got me two pink perfume bttles from it..

These stories are great!

I think the best gift would be the necklace that's in the shape of a key with a heart. The Easter before he gave it to me I gave him the key to my house in his basket. So when my birthday came around in June he wrote in the card,'You gave me the key to your house, now here's the key to my heart.'

I was floored!!! I love the necklace but what he wrote makes me just as happy!!

The best present that he has given me is a trip to Disney World. He gave it to me for my bday last month (although we are waiting until aug to go). He promised me when we first started dating that he would take me to disney for my 30th bday.
