HOW and WHY did you pick your wedding dress? How many stores did you visit? How many dresses did you try on, etc?

HOW and WHY did you pick your wedding dress? TOTALLY BY COINCIDENCE... I WENT TO KLEINFELD AND THEY WERE HAVING A KIRSTIE KELLY FOR DISNEY FAIRY TALE WEDDINGS TRUNK SHOW. I CHOSE IT BECAUSE IT WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED! I LIKE VERY PLAIN GOWNS, (NO BEADS) AND A RUCHED WAIST... IT IS VERY SLIMMING, LIGHT, AIRY AND I LOVED THE FLOWER ACCENT AND BUBBLE HEM!!!
How many stores did you visit? I WENT TO SOME PLACE IN FLORAL PARK (NOT ACCOMMODATING AT ALL- GAVE ME EVERYTHING I DIDN'T WANT AND HAD TO STUFF ME INTO SMALL GOWNS- AN AWFUL FIRST EXPERIENCE), WEDDING CENTER IN COMMACK AND FINALLY KLEINFELD. THEY WERE BY FAR THE BEST!!!

I know it sounds weird but I didn't find dress shopping enjoyable at all until it was over! I went to seven stores in three days because my mom was in town from IL. i fell in LOVE with a dress at Pronovias, but it was over my budget and i literally mourned the dress all night when i committed to sticking to my budget.
i ended up finding my dress at a store in CT that makes custom gowns. the dress designer actually made my aunts dress as well about twenty years ago...so i guess the place runs in the family now. here it is, first fitting is THIS SATURDAY!!
The dress I bought was the first one I tried on at the 2nd store. I just loved it! It reminded me of the beach for some reason...I guess the diamond white and the way the beading was.
I just love it! I can't wait till it comes in!

I wanted a dress that was really poofy but not heavy that made me feel like a Queen. I must have tried on my dress in 4 different stores before I gave in (loved the dress but didnt love the $$$)
I looked high and low but nothing caught my attention so I got a seamstress and I DESIGNED it myself and its sooooo poofy and sparkly and so my style.

i went to a bunch of stores..i actually hate dress shopping..it was my least fav weddiing thing to do..but when i tried this one on i knew it..i just loved it...there is a pic in my albumif anyone wants to see

I went to 2 store dress shopping and tried on atleast 10 dresses in each store. I fell in love when I put my dress on. I just loved everything about it
it was exactly what i was looking for... lots of sparkle and nooo pearls with a decent size train and some good poof

3 - but i went to RK three times which was where i got my dress

at RK alone i tried on 15 dresses so i guess around 30 or so all together...
i tried mine on the first time i went to RK and fell in love with it... i went a second time and tried more on.. still loving the one i tried on from before... and then went a third time b/c i wanted my dad to see it before i ordered it... it was the best decision i made b/c when i walked out of the dressing room he teared up ... this made me KNOW it was the one !!!
plus my grandparents came along to see the dress.. they loved the veil and tiara that i tired on with the dress soo much that they bough them for me... ithey were sooo expensive but sooo amazing... i'm just as excited to get the veil and tiara as the dress i think !!!

I went to two stores - it was the 3rd dress I tried on, but I tried on about a dozen more after that. I just fell in love with it the second I put it on.

I picked my dress because its kind of vintage looking and I love the fabric.
It was the 4th dress I tried on but I went to 6 stores and tried on about 30 dresses total - I tried it on in every store that had the dress!!!
