*QOTD 3/22/13*

Happy Friday everyone! So excited tomorrow is finally Saturday. I haven't seen Fh all week and I miss him.
I'm going out for a few drinks with my cousin tonight so today's question is

What drink can you no longer drink anymore because of a bad experience? What was the experience?

I can't even look at Bacardi O. The first new years eve that I was 21 we had the whole family over, and it was the first time my mother didn't pay attention to how much I drank. I drank pretty much a whole bottle by myself. To say I was drunk was an understatement. I started throwing up before midnight and was still throwing up the next day at 8pm. My mother doesn't know how I didn't get alcohol poisoning.

I don't really drink that much at all. Maybe once every few months and that's on the high end of estimating! When I was younger my sister & I would party and we would drink Hypnotiq! Thinking about it now makes me gag. I think the reason I don't drink now is because I did in excess younger haha! Oh the young partying days. Liquor and me just don't mix well anymore.

I hear ya I pretty much stick to beer now. My sister in law got mad at me because I would do Jaeger bombs with her. When I was younger I drank Jaeger straight out of the bottle. Now I smell it and get sick lol.

when i was 18 i went to a bar with my friends and wanted to see what being 'tipsy' was like lol so i had a few lemon drop shots and coronas...BAD IDEA!! i was soooo sick. and swore never to drink like that again. now i have wine but just 1 glass!! im too afraid to get sick again..ugh

Smirnoff ice... Ugh! Never again! I hate drinking anything too sugury now, I feel way too full and gross. My favorite used to be vodka cranberries but now I get hive when I drink them I still to beer and wine usually, and the occasional gin and tonic.

Redbull and Vodka.

I drank so many on my 21st birthday that my hands were shaking and I couldn't fall alseep. I felt like I was on drugs! Now when I smell it, it makes me cringe.

Oh god, I'm gagging just thinking about this. SoCo and Lime! My friends and I were working alumni weekend in college. So we smuggled in a bottle of SoCo and a lime squeeze bottle (we were super ghetto, im talking kool aid and vodka!) Anyway my friend and I decided to see who could drink more. Ended in us finishing a large bottle 'shot' for 'shot' (which were full cups) We blacked out, I puked all over the computer room carpet (the stain was still disgustingly there a few years later!) and puked for the next 12 hours...Not my finest moment...but I chalk it up to being young and dumb. Now I NEVER drink..like EVER. Once in a very blue moon will I have a drink!

Ugh Jack Daniels. When I was in 10th grade, me and two other girls somehow downed a large bottle in under an hour. I vomited profusely and was so sick for a few days after. I can't even SMELL the stuff anymore.

I don't think there's on particular alcohol I can't drink anymore - although I do despise artificially flavored liquors. I really can't do shots anymore. The thought of doing one now almost makes me gag!

Uggh makes me gag just thinking about this LOL..I was 21 and I went with a few friends to the city and I had my first shot of 151, of course I didn't know what it was & took it down like it was water...well needless to say I ended up throwing up in my friend's car, left my clutch at coat check (but thank goodness my friend knew the girl working that night so I got it back with everything in it), and of course I was in no condition to show up at my house like that, so I didn't go home and stayed at my friend's house LOL..so after that wonderful experience I have never done a 151 shot ever again LOL

This exactly! I was hanging out with friends and drank like half a bottle by myself, just straight because hey, it's Bacardi razz and tastes pretty good that way right? WRONG! I got so sick that night. I took the train back home by myself no less and don't even know how I made it home safely in that condition. I threw it all up and can't even smell Bacardi Razz now! Ahhh, to be young again! These days I'm not much of a drinker.

When I graduated from college I went out for celebratory drinks with my (now) exbf. I had 3 Long Island ice teas (strong ones too) in 45 minutes. I was sick all night and the next day. I remember my perception of time drastically changed. 2 hours felt like 15 minutes! I still drink it from time to time, but very slowly. I usually don't finish a glass anymore.

Any bacardi if I even smell it I get a lil sick to my stomach. Before I was 21 a few friends and I were hanging out upstate at a friends parents cabin. We had a variety of liquors and of course my 100lbs self soaking weight used to drink like a fish. Well I over did it this time. So sick never felt more worse in my life. Also bacardi limon my most hated after a bad break up thought it was a good idea to anger drink, yeah bad news bears. Came back up pure bacardi. Worst.

I can't even taste vodka anymore. When I was in high school we used to bring screwdrivers to school and I had some not so great experiences. Now I just stick to tequila! Lol

I got blackout drunk on white wine, red wine, and beer early in January plus got food poisoning that night...I haven't drank any alcohol since. My stomach churns at the idea!

There was this blue martini in a bottle that I bought one New Year's Eve and I basically drank almost the whole bottle by myself that night at his parents' house. I couldn't throw up but I felt soooooooo sick and I was crying violently. I had had a particularly rough end of the year, so I think his family just chalked it up to that. But yeah, I don't even know what it was, but I'll never drink blue martinis again!

I'm also a tequila girl! Mmm.. could go for a margarita right about now!
