~QOTD 3.4.14~

So when it came to wedding planning I found some things much easier to choose then others. My question for you ladies is what did you find as the most difficult to book/choose?

For me I would def say it was my dress. I was having nightmares about choosing the wrong one or that they would all look horrible on me. When I finally went dress shopping I thought everything was pretty and wound up picking a dress I wouldn't have originally chosen. I was feeling unsure about my choice for 3 days and I wound up going back to the store and changing my dress. I love the dress I picked but even now I still have a fear the day of I'm going to wish I had gotten something different.

I completely understand what you are saying about the dress! I was afraid when I went to try it on again to try to find a veil that I wouldn't love it anymore. But once I put it on, I loved it even more!

Hardest part was picking the venue. I really wanted one place, and my FH didn't love it, and then he loved one place and I didn't love it. We went back and forth for awhile. I also am finding the littest details are really starting to get to me, something as simple as a first dance song (took us months to decide) to invitation wording.

Definitely the venue! There was a point where I didn't think that we would ever find something that we loved. Everything else has been mostly simple just scary that it's all supposed to come together on one day and the way that we are envisioning it!

Re: ~QOTD 3.4.14~

Our bigger vendors (with the exception of venue) were all suggested by word of mouth through family. So that was easy. Choosing our color scheme was difficult for me. Took awhile to decide on navy blue and gold. Up next is flowers and that's something else I'm a little stuck on, which to use. I will trust the professional's opinion about what looks good. I don't really want to lose sleep over flowers, haha.

ETA: Oh! The wedding date. Which date to pick was something that had me pulling my hair out, haha. In the end, the venue ended up choosing it because it was the only date in October left.

Hmm good question. The venue was probably toughest just because it sets the tone for every other choice related to the big day

Re: ~QOTD 3.4.14~

Definitely the dress so far. I prob tried on 25-30 dresses and had commitment issues. But since many places said I needed at least 8 mos for it to be ready, that pressure helped me finalize my decision. I can't wait to see it again!

Definitely the venue. We had the hardest time picking a location that wasn't too far for FH's family to travel to from Jersey + Staten Island. Once we decided that pretty much everything in suffolk was out, life was easier.

I feel like the dress should have been a bigger stress but I was so calm when we picked that NOW im stressing that i should have kept looking lol. I know I'll love it when I have it back on but I worry about it much more often than i should!

i think bridesmaid dresses was the most difficult, just because i had to get everyone together to get it done lol... my dress, shoes, venue, food, dj, photog, etc. were all easy decisions for the most part. I'm easy though!

My color scheme still has me bananas. I haven't picked out bridesmaids dresses yet, and I want to do a warm color palette, but my girls want to wear purple. In the end, it's obviously what I want, but I've been so back and forth on colors. It's ridic.

For me the hardest decision are the bouquets. Our wedding colors really don't grow naturally, so we have to be creative. We saw a prototype of a bouquet of white roses spray painted blue and gold and I loved it. But then when it comes to the bridal party...I wanted something simple like Cala Lillies. I don't know what I'm going to do yet.
