Did you know FH was the one one you met?


I knew from the moment I saw him (before I actually met him) that I was going to marry him! We saw eachother in a bagel store and akwardly stared at eachother for a good 15 minutes and I immediatly felt it. Later that day I went to start my new job and you'll never guess who elsed worked there. We were both in relationships which made feeling that way extra odd! But we have been inseperable ever since!

Fh and I were friends/ best friends for about 3 years before we started dating. We went on a trip to Jamaica with friends in April 2009 ( we started dating 'offically' in November 2009). During that trip to Jamaica we fell in love. ( both of us say it).

It was just a sticky situation bc I used to date FH's friend and we were still friends with him, so we had to figure everything out before we ruined friendships. BUT

we both knew in Jamaica that we would eventually date and spend the rest of our lives with eachother. FH says that when we were on the plane going to Jamaica and I was listening to his ipod sharing his headphones he knew that he would marry me, and weirdly I felt the same way. It would be about a year into dating that we both expressed this to one another and found it funny :)

We started talking online for about 9 months before we met. He was stationed in Iraq. We would webcam and write letters. Once he was home on leave I picked him up and was able to go to the gate. I already had a major crush on him but once he came through the gate and I hugged him it was over. I was totally in love with him.

You girls moved much quicker than I did! The night FH and I first met several years ago we hated each other. My good friend brought him out one night and afterwords I told him 'please don't bring that a** around again.' We ended up talking at the aforementioned friend's birthday party in 2009 and it still took me a while to 'know.' We both agree that it was during a trip to Mexico about a year later that this was it.

I had a VERY strong positive reaction to FH the moment I saw him(we met via online, but met in person very soon after talking on the phone a time or two.)
He was one of the most sincere, honest, humble and gentlemanly guys I had ever met and it just showed in everything about him.
BUT, stupid me, I was going back and forth with this other guy, who was a complete drama nitemare. And Nitemare Guy and I ended up back together soon after I had a couple of dates with FH.
Something just kept pulling me back to FH though.
Even though I had told him I had gone back into a relationship with the Nitemare guy, FH would drop me a little email or call to say hi every now and then.
More and more, FH was in my thoughts and I just grew to adore everything about him! In the end, his amazingly good qualities won out over the drama! And I am so glad FH stuck around! Any other guy might have just said, nah... I was a bit of a nut during that time to say the least!

the first time we met was for a cup of coffee and we wound up talking for 4 hours. FH sent me a text before I even got home telling me what a great time he had. He then sent me another text asking if i made it home ok.
I'm not sure I knew he was the one that night, I just knew I had finally found a good guy.
I knew he was the one not that long after.
We have had so many things together, my almost dying (he practically lived in the hospital with me for a month) the loss of my MIL and dog buying/selling a home. In the end we laughed so much more than we yelled.
He really is pretty amazing!

FH and I met online after sending a few messages back and forth and talking on the phone we decided to meet. At the time of our first date i was going on dates pretty frequently but none of them made and impact really. We just clicked it was just that feeling like we new each other for years, I felt so comfortable with him.
