ITS FRIDAY!! YAYY!! Today was my early day at work! So I was up and out the door before 7... which is great because I love fridays since I'm in the office by myself after 930am. But that also means I'm home before 3!So anyway... here is todays question.
Were you the little girl who dreamed of her wedding forever? If so... how is your wedding shaping up to match your 'dream wedding'??
When I was a little girl I wanted Ariel's (yes.. little mermaid Ariel)wedding. I wanted to get married on a boat in the water somewhere with the big puffy dress and my prince Eric. I also wanted the blue sparkly dress as well. I have red hair so she was always my favorite disney princess. I also think that movie was responsible for my attraction to guys with dark hair and light eyes.
Well. My FH DOES have dark hair and the most AMAZING green eyes in the world. (Which gives me a lot of hope to have my little green eyed, red headed baby girl). But.. I'm not getting married on a boat in the water somewhere. That was going to be the plan. FH and I were talking about eloping on a cruise that we were planning to take this coming april... but my mother freaked out about that.
However... I 're-worked' my dream and am now having the wedding of my ADULT dreams.
I still got my prince charming though. Granted... he's not Harrison Ford or Bruce Willis... but he'll do

Hope you ladies have a GREAT weekend!!!

HAHAHAHAH I Love The Little Mermaid!!!As a little girl I NEVER dreamed of my wedding...EVER! I was more of a let's wear full body camouflage and pretend I'm GI JOE, playing baseball in front of the house! Though as an adult I always pictured myself getting married on the beach which we ARE doing! It's funny b/c things that I thought I would want at my wedding are becoming things I don't even really want when I'm ACTUALLY planning the wedding!

As a little girl I never really dreamed about any aspect of the wedding except for the dress! I wanted a beautiful dress and a tall husband
FH is taller than me but not very tall but that's okay bc he's perfect
Until we got engaged I wanted to elope but then once we started talking about it and I joined this website I realized I want a (semi) big party and I just couldn't miss out on the beautiful pictures I plan on hanging all over my house! LOL

I never really dreamt about my wedding. I don't think I was able to really picture it until I met my FH. One thing I did dream about...SHOES. I had my wedding shoes picked out from the first time I saw them, but we're the same height and my teenage dreams didn't incorporate that I don't want to wear high heels to my wedding. We've negotiated...Manolo Blahnik makes flat versions of the pump! :)

I always dreamed of finding Mr. Right and getting married but not any wedding details or anything like that. The only thing I knew I would want was a winter wedding which we are having!

I didn't really dream of my wedding. I literally always fantasized about being a career woman in the city! Isn't that wierd?!I didn't start thinking about my dream wedding until like last year lol. So far it's everything that I hoped for. I'm really blessed that I'm the baby of the family, so my parents had PLENTY of time to save to help us out.

Happy friday ladies! Now if only spring would hurry up.Love the little mermaid it is my favorite Disney movie. I didn't really dream of my dream wedding when I was little I was always a little jealous of Cinderella though I loved her dress and how it sparkled and glitter shot out from everything lol. I wanted to elope fh wanted the traditional wedding. I still kind of want to elope just cause I can't wait and cost less lol. Our wedding is coming along is it my dream wedding no cause we couldn't fund it but it will still be a fun wedding. All that matters to me is I get to marry my best friend.

I never really dreamed of my wedding as a kid but the second I met FH I started dreaming
I pictured my wedding on the water, nautical inspired (as you have all heard time and time again lol)I haven't done too much planning yet, still working on vendors and such. But the details in my head are turning out nicely, though nothing like I orginally invisioned. I am glad I changed my vision though because we are saving money that way & can use it toward our future together

The only aspects of my wedding that I dreamed about were my dress and my grand entrance into the Church walking towards my FH. Now that I am starting to plan my wedding the lack of dreaming is causing a problem with selecting a venue and other details.Oh my Gosh. So my favorite Disney Princess was Sleeping Beauty. She doesn't really have a wedding in the movie just a grand entrance with Prince Phillip on a large stair case and then they slowly waltz to the most beautiful song ever and live happily ever after lol.
(This def. has to be where my princess dress fascination and grand entrance fixation come from!! Although I have to admit my dress of choice def. going to be more like Cinderella's!!)

I ABSOLUTELY was! My barbies got married every day to someone different... sometimes to my brother's GI Joe 'dolls' and sometimes to each other lolIt is so funny how I have always had all of these visions and fantasys about my wedding. I always watched those wedding shows on TV for years before I got engaged... but once I started to actually plan my wedding, my visions changed! Probably because I am 27 and when I planned the 'perfect wedding' I was 6 haha. Needless to say, I had to ditch the castle and Beauty & The Beast theme =)

Oh jeez, I don't even know if I want to think about what I wanted in a wedding when I was younger! I wanted something huge with the big huge dress with the white gloves and tiara. I wanted to marry price charming and live happily ever after. Basically I'm describing a dinsney movie I feel!My idea of what I want has so drastically changed! I love my new vision so much more though!

I never thought about my wedding until I met FH, and I think I never REALLY REALLY thought about it till there was a ring on my finger because even now it doesn't feel like I am planning OUR wedding it still doesn't feel real!I never dreamt of a wedding as a kid.

I always dreamed about my wedding when I was a kid. I had everything planned out, even drew a picture of what I wanted my dress to look like.My vision has changed a lol as I've grown up. I no longer wanted the big goofy princess dress(though I saw a picture of the dress I drew as kid in a bridal magazine and may have to try it on just because) even my whole color scheme has changed.
I love my new vision though.

I honestly never thought of my wedding until FH and I had been together for about a year or two. Then my mind was hooked on everything wedding related :)

I always joke and say my wedding's been planned for the last 15 years and FH was the last piece of the puzzle. I always imagined a formal, glitzy winter wedding and that's exactly what I'm getting!

I didn't dream about my wedding as a little girl. I didn't start to even consider marriage until I was about 24-25 years old. I'm planning my wedding now according to my likes as well as FH's.Welcome New Vendors
