Good Morning and Happy Saturday to all my fellow brides to be and of course i can't get forget our married brides .
So here goes my first QOTD as bride of the week hopefully i can make you guys proud
What is something or things that FH has given to you that you cherish the most besides your E-ring or wedding band?
For me i would have to say all the birthday and holiday cards that FH has given me. I have kept every single one of them since we started dating in a folder. I could never get rid of them because the things that he has written in them are just so sweet and sentimental.

The scrapbook he made me for our first Christmas together... esp since he needed help so he allowed himself to be embarrassed by his mom, aunt and sister as they helped him make it!
He also added a page to it when we got engaged and tied the ring inside of it.

I have kept every card FH has given me also!!! He always finds such thoughtful and creative cards!!! I also loved it when he suprised me with new tires on my car and a car wash! For no reason!

FH bought me a pearl bracelet when we first met. We weren't even dating yet... WE had only gone out on like 2 dates. He had a trip planned with his friends to Mexico. And On our 1st date I said something about pearls. When he came back from Mexico he gave me a beautiful pearl bracelet! I was soooo surprised that he remembered! The ex I had before him, I dated for 5 years and when he went away to the Bahamas he brought me back.......... a lighter. Yup... a regular .99 lighter that said Bahamas on it. I'm not all about gifts or anything but that was one of the last straws! LOL!
Anyway back to the question... I will always cherish it because its the 1st thing FH ever gave to me and it was super sweet and very thoughtful!

FH bought me a kitten almost a year into dating. Axel, my kitty, is now about a year and a half and I love him as if he is my child, lol.

I save every card and every movie ticket stub and every little piece of memorabilia from any thing we've done, tickets to museums, parks, ferries, everything.
But what he's actually given me, I would say a rosewood jewelry box that he had one of our pics from Shelter Island put on the ceramic tile on the lid, and a photo book he made on Blurb of our first 3 years of dating.

FH got me a diamond bracelet for my first birthday with him. I so love that bracelet and wear it as often as I can.
He also bought me a kitten... I named her Kiwi and now she's big and a big pain in the butt to go with it... but she's the cutest cat and acts more like a dog than a cat. We so love her. (and just so I'm fair... we love skyla too... skyla was around before FH - she was my cat from when I was like 20).

Our second Christmas together fh bought me a diamond bangle bracelet. The reason I cherish it is because when FH and i first met, I showed him a diamond bangle that was my mom's that i used to wear, but don't anymore because its yellow gold. My mom practically gave it to me because it doesn't fit her, so I kept saying I wanted to have it dipped in white gold so i could wear it.
FH totally surprised me and bought me my own. That's why its my favorite!

what a cute question. i'd have to say a ring that he had made for me when we first started dating. it started when he bought me one of those oysters in FL and it had a pearl in it. so he bought me a little dolphin pendant for the pearl and i wore it constantly. one day he asked me if he could see if it fit around his neck. (i'm very oblivious!!) and i said sure, i put it on him and he said, wearing a necklace is annoying, lemme see how long i can leave it on before it drives me nuts (i didn't think anything of it)... long story short, he left to work with it on (i forgot about it) and then pretended to lose it at work. at christmas a few months later, he gave me a ring box and (at first i panicked) but then when i opened it, it was a pearl ring...that looked just like my necklace...only it was a ring. he had worked with a jeweler to design it and made it into a gorgeous ring. i cherish the story behind it. every once in a while, he takes my hand, kisses the ring and says 'its magical' and i'll wear it forever and ever

my double heart ring he gave me our 1st christmas together...
I keep every card he has ever given me and all of the ticket stubs from movies and shows we see...FH has gotten me a lot of great gifts over the years but I think the ones I cherish the most are the nights out he treats me to. I love when he takes me to dinner and Broadway shows for my birthday/anniversary because it is a memory I can keep with me forever and ever!

FH has bought 1 card for me, over the whole time we have been together! It is the perfect card, that says how his life would be incomplete without me, how i am his perfect mate, and never in his life had he dreamt hed meet and fall in love with someone like me. This to me is the MOST cherished thing he has given to me.

Wow! You guys are going to make me cry!! How romantic. We as for me I don't have a romantic story I'm the practical one FH is romantic and sentimental.
I do keep the ribbon off of every gift he has given me he actually takes the time to perfectly wrap every gift with good paper and a real satin bow and usually some ornament. Our first valentines together I told how I wasn't into the 'holiday' and that we shouldn't stress it -- he agreed but bought me an food processor three days later because he saw me crying while chopping onions for dinner. He's been really good about appeasing my practical side -- I love him more for that.
