Hey Chicas.....

The Question of the Day is.................

How long did you date before you got engaged?

I started going out with My Fiancee on Feb 7 2009...
I got engaged on January 25, 2010.

I know some of you will say too fast, but hey, when you know you know.

We were/are very sure of what we wanted/want...

I am so happy I am his Fiancee!

I met my hubby when I was a senior in high school so we have been together since 2001 and got engaged in 2007

FH and i started dating 2/14/07 and got engaged on 12/12/09

We were together about 2 1/2 years before he proposed! We started talking about it after the 1 year mark though.. I didn't get impatient at all waiting...

Started dating 7/7/07

Engaged on 12/9/09

i don't think it matters at all when you get engaged - if you know your right for each other, then that's all that matters.

My FH and I started dating on May 29, 2008
and we got engaged on November 8, 2009
so 1 year and 5 months.

my FSIL was only going out with her DH for 7 months before they were engaged.

We started dating March 2007 and he proposed Nov 2009. He told me he wanted to marry me within the first year....I took a little longer to come around lol

I was young and a commitmentphobe!

Our 1st date was April 9, 2004 and we got engaged October 22, 2009...long time, but well worth the wait!!

Is it bad that i can exactly remember?? LOL!

I'd say we started 'talking' Halloween 2003. And casually dated for that full year taking breaks here & there. We didn't become serious until July 2005 maybe. So We've known each other for going on 7 years; but 'officially' dating for 5. whew! It will be 6 years when we get married!

....or 796 days

and when we first got engaged, we had 703 days until our wedding - so I'll be engaged almost as long as I was dating before I got engaged!

Met and immediately were together starting January 13, 2006.
He proposed on September 4th, 2009.
We're getting married October 15, 2011.

my FH and I have been together since 2001 or so. The date is debatable between us. FH says he knew I was 'the one' the second he saw me. Yikes! lol

Anyway we've been living together for about 6 years and we sort of consider ourselves married at this point. The wedding is just a party for us really. In fact, we may go get married in the next two weeks (we say this every day!) and save on our health ins etc that way.

so..what's that? like 9 years? lol

Got engagaed: 7/11/2009
Getting Married 7/10/2011

We knew from the moment we met we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with one another. And Our reasoning is why wait when we already know that we're meant for eachother.
