I really enjoyed everyone's answers yesterday about their favorite foods........it really made me hungry....
So today's question is going to hit our inner 'Platinum Wedding Diva'......
If you had the $$$ to spend on a 'Platinum Wedding', how would your wedding change, if at all?
You know we all have seen the show and been blown away from some of the things that they have done.....so what would be some of the things that you would change or would you keep your wedding the way it is right now.
As for me? I would get a designer to make me my own dress - a one of a kind. I would have bling up the wazooo, on me, all over the reception, etc. I would hire David Tutera!!! I would invite a million people instead of my measly 75!!
And definitely have the reception at some fancy castle and have fireworks go off in the background......Ah to dream!!!

i would loveeee to have a destination wedding to an oriental country! fly everyone there and just have lots of fun!!

ummm i'd be covered in diamonds lol, id have fireworks, id have the most ridiculous cp's dripping with crystals, i'd have crystals on the edge of the table (like that girl on platinum weddings did), i'd have everything customized from plates to entire menu (like whatever i wanted not what the rh told me to choose from), i'd have a wedding planner to do all this research for me... i could seriously go on and on and on

i want drapes and A LOT of uplighting and backlighting...
and like 10 cocktail hour stations lol. I'd also add on the jazz hour at the end in the separate room with a jazz band, cigar roller, and have bfast be served

go over the top with flowers/decor

maybe get some famous singer/band for the reception
i am sure there are a ton of other things but i can't think right now

i would want everything customized...bling everywhere...celebrity wedding planner...a couture gown...manolo's...I would try to get some of Shawns favorite bands to come and play...Celebrity chef...2 month honeymoon tour of europe...

honestly i would have everything the same.
if i had the extra money i would have my dreams house built. thats more important to me.

Celebrity Chef Lots of custom decorations with personal touches It would be in Tuscany and I would fly everyone there for the weekend.

diamonds everywhere night-time couture dress custom menu of food i choose a giant wedding cake tons of lighting

I would hire David Tutera as well. Fireworks would be a must. I would add a lounge to a seperate room for guests to go to after the actual reception. I would drape the room is silk taffetta with uplighting and have custom made chandeliers to match me decor.
my cake would be 7 layers high and be bling'd out in that edible pearl powder stuff.
My gown would be a custom Monique Lullier (sp?)
OMG that would be awesome..... but honeslty mines gonna ROCK! So dreaming is fun but my reality is better!

Wow so much would be done I think. I would keep the same place, but definitely get mad upgrades to the food. Id decorate the place in crazy flowers with ornate centerpeices, flowers everywhere, on the mantels, staircase etc. Id have music playing in all the rooms too. Id also extend my wedding to the entire day! I wouldn't even care if people would stay, it would just be an entire day or partying. Oh and Id also pay for everyone to stay in the hotel close by so we can party the days before too.

I'd pick out whatever dress I wanted and forget price. I'd get the full photographer package instead of just getting a CD of the pics. I'd find someone to make me amazing centerpieces that weren't full of flowers (I hate the idea of spending all that money on something that will die).
I'd go on the most kicka$$ month-long honeymoon to Tahiti, Bora Bora and Hawaii!!!!!!!!

i would want a unique location with a tent set up. draping. lighting. amazing centerpieces. live musicians for CH and band. luscious linens. at least 2 dresses. a choreographed dance. amazing photo and video waaaay more than i can now afford. a sleep over and a bus trip to the vineyards the next day. aaahhhhhh

i think i would keep it the same. we r already having a shyt load of people. everything i want. i just think the honeymoom would be different and longer and maybe have gotten two dresses
