So my question today is about your bridesmaids and maids/matrons of honor. How big is your bridal party and how did you meet them?
I have 5 ladies in my bridal party. My Cousin, who I am closer with than either one of my sisters, is my Matron of honor. I am closer to her than anyone else. My younger sister is my maid of honor and my older sister is a bridesmaid. I'll spare you the details of the family drama, but I do not speak nor get along with my older sister she is in my party to please my mother. After my family I am including 2 friends. One girlfriend I lived with in college and the other girlfriend I met more than 10 years ago now through an ex boyfriend. She was dating my ex bf's friend. We remained friends and have not spoken to the boys in probably a decade now :)
Happy Friday!!
Friday Countdown - 330 days.... Crazy how time is flying.

My Friday count down is 392 :)
As for my bridal party I am having my best friend of 24 years as my maid of honor. My cousin on my dads side is a bridesmaid along with my two friends from out here. My FSIL is also a bridesmaid. I am hoping that eventually when I move to pa and am still working on wedding things it will bring her and I closer since we dont really talk. my niece is also the flower girl and our junior bridesmaid is a girl who is like my little sister (long story)
Edited bc I sent it with out finishing.

I have four girls in my bridal party.. My maid of honor is my best friend since we where born (our dad's went to hs together and their family has three girls and mine does, all the same ages =D ), my two sisters, mind my FSIL! We could have kept going but I wanted to keep it even and I also didn't want too big of a bridal party.. More ladies=more drama and my sisters are enough drama for me lol
Friday countdown... 882!

We're just keeping it to a maid of honor and best man. My really close friends are guys, and his sister lives in another country and won't be here until right before the wedding. Plus he feels he would have to ask everyone who has ever had him in their wedding and doesn't want the ratio uneven ( I personally don't care ). Sounds easy enough to me! lol

I think I am going to have 5-6 girls we are still deciding. My MOH will be my best friend and then I will have one of my FSILs as a BM as well as a few other friends.

I am having 2. Matron of Honor and Maid of honor. My Maid of Honor is my friend who I have know for 6 years. Love her to pieces and could not have imagined her by side on my special day. My best friend was suppose to be my Matron of Honor unfortunately, I guess her being in a different place in our lives people grow apart. Long story short, when I got engaged to my FH she was going through a hard time in her marriage. She was upset that I did not tell her about my engagement right away and made a big thing about it, yet I still have not seen her since my engagement and that was 1-1-2013. It was a touchy subject to discuss with her so I waited until she brought it up when she asked who was in my bridal party. Of course I wanted her to be there and she said she felt honored and will try her best. It went downhill from there. She was always too busy, something always happened when she was suppose to call and didn't and with all that was going on in her life I felt her main focus should be her son and herself. She was in agreement and still haven't seen her. I then asked my other girlfriend who I met via my FH. I took her out for lunch and told her all that transpired and asked her if she would be my Matron of Honor and she said yes. Things happen for a reason and I guess this is just the way it's suppose to be. I love my girls and am so happy to share this day with them. Oh em gee!!!! I just realized how long my response was. Sorry =/

I have a total of 6 girls. My cousin who is my MOH. Then I have 3 of my sorority sisters, my FSIL and my best friend from junior high/high school. I didn't ask any other cousins, or my brother's future wife so that has been a little weird, but the girls I asked have been with me through thick and thin and I couldn't imagine having any others with me on the big day!
FRIDAY COUNTDOWN: 287!!!

I have a total of 5 girls in my Bridal Party.
Maid of Honor - she has been my best friend for my entire life. Our parents are best friends, so we grew up together.
Matron of Honor - she has been my other best friend since we were like 15 years old. I was the Maid of Honor at her wedding
3 Bridesmaids - these girls I have been friends with since we were in Junior HS. We are all still so close and I wouldn't even think of not having them in my wedding.
Friday Countdown: 419 days 21 hours 44 minutes 15 seconds!
I have 6. My two older sisters are my matrons of honor. One BM is my best friend since I was about 2, another is my best friend/college roommate, and the last two are FH's younger sisters. I didn't want a huge bridal party, but it makes me a little sad that I have so many sisters that I need to incorporate and had to exclude some friends because of that :( FH also has 6 on his side, we wanted to be even and any more would have been too many for him. And then we have 2 FGs (my niece and my BM's daughter) and 1 RB (BM's son/my godson)!
