Hi all! sorry if this post is late I have been rushing around since early this morning for my cousins wife's baby shower and on top of that it's my fh birthday this week and the future in laws wanted to celebrate today!

So lets talk about the bling!-yes the rock on your finga that he popped the BIG-Q with! heheh.... sorry if this is a repeat question.... did you pick it out? or give him any ideas? was it all on his own? or is it a family hairloom?

Mine was his mothers stone and she would like me to pass it on to our future children and so on and so forth. :)
He asked me with a plain gold band setting and told me we could find a new setting for it.... so I did....and here is the result ....I love it because it's very unique and I don't see alot of younger girls with the marquise shape stone.

Love my bling! FH and I had shopped around, just to give him an idea... And thank god we did because the first place we went to I let him pick what he thought I'd like.. Let's just say, it was nobody's taste lol. I found my ring and loved it and he went back the next day and put a deposit down :) so basically I picked my own ring without knowing it. I had no idea he'd be proposing so soon:)

Mine was custom made he took things I loved and integrated them into the ring. I got a black diamond with amethysts and skulls! I love it! Truly unique gets a lot of attention.

Here is my bling bling.

I told fh that I wanted a pave diamond band and that's all I really cared about. He said is always like round stones so I knew it was going to be round. I love my ring! I stare at it all the time! He did such a good job! The prongs that hold the middle stone have diamonds going up them as well and that was totally my fh's idea! And I love the touch it adds to the ring! =)

Fh told me I could start shopping for rings to give him ideas about what I wanted this way I would still be surprised with the ring. I must have sent him 20 different pics he was so confused lol then I found this one and I said to him omg I love this I don't want to look anymore that's the one. So I ruined my own surprise but I love love the blue diamonds on the side!!

My ring is an heirloom. What I love about it is it's antique style and that it is a family heirloom and I love the story behind it and my FH knows how much family means to me.

I did not pick out my ring but I had told FH I wanted a round stone with a halo. He did very well! He picked out an amazing stone with my family jeweler and the ring in beautiful! I have pictures in my album :)
