I hope you ladies liked my first question. Its always nice to get to know a lil more about each other. On that note...this question is kind of a spin off on mariedsgn's question today... Well... it was inspired by her question.
When you and FH / FW move(d) in together, was there anything (s)he wanted to bring with him/her that you secretly or not so secretly wanted to trash? Or did trash? And vice-versa? If so, what? How did (s)he react?
For me... FH and I moved in together 'officially' this year...but he kinda been here for years now. So, my apt. was always clean, clear and organized....until he moved his stuff in. One thing I want to get rid of is something he bought for me, or us, but he was sneaky about it. It's a 5 in one game table the size of a twin size bed...just too big for an apartment. He hasn't played it yet, and its been assembled for 2 yrs. So I want to get rid of it...if he lets me. I just don't want to hurt his feelings. LOL That and his roll top desk... too bulky and in my way. Its just collecting dust anyway...nothing is in it and he doesn't utilize it at all. (sigh) Prime real estate could be used for my SHOES!

When we were moving I helped FH pack cuz I am good at getting rid of junk. I made him put all his ratty old teeshirts into bins to leave in his mothers attic. I don't mind him not wanting to throw them away, but they are certainly not coming to our tiny apartment. When we get a house we will just throw them into the basement or attic where they will prob sit forever. I wish I could have made him get rid of his video games, i hate them ALL... lol

I am in the same boat with most of you... I have A LOT of books. I love to read and want my own library one day. LOL. So he is overwhelmed by books. He's okay with them since they are in book shelves. BUT he would love for me to sell them on eBay. And I would LOVE for him to find another home for both his bikes. We have less than 2 mo. to convert the 2nd BR into a BR again. It looks like storage with all his STUFF and the game table. LOL 2 months and my brother comes home for a visit...he needs a place to sleep. LOL.

We started of pretty much fresh in our apartment. Luckily, FH has pretty good taste when it comes to furniture so I didnt have any problems with his stuff! Most of his bachelor stuff went in the trash after he moved out of his college dorms (ie. Collection of empty liquor bottles, Road Signs hung on the wall) he knows I wouldnt have any of that crap in my apartment! I didnt really have anything besides a bed that we brought into the new apartment. We did get rid of my duvet cover because there was highlighter stains all over it from falling asleep while studying. FH didn't like the idea of yellow spots all over the place.

Yeah! Anything and everything that he left in the living room. Prior to him living with me my living room was clean and clutter free. When he came it was like a hurricane. He would come home and put his work pants in the living room and leave it there knowing that there was a hamper, a closet or a draw.

great question...hmm where do I start..1) simpsons figurine 2) Sports memorabelia-NOTE: If we had a house I would LOVE to put this in the basement but there is no room in an apartement 3) HIS furniture-it was just huge and we had already purchased furniture that did not match it 4) Old comic books AND 5) old records-we dont even HAVE a record player
