QOTD - 4/6/09

Good Morning Ladies!! Hope all of you are enjoying this lovely weather we are having!

My first QOTD is kind of a two parter... One of my favorite movies of all time is the weddding singer. There is one scene where the two main characters are practicing how a bride and groom should kiss when they are announced as married. For those of your who have seen it, I crack up every time they talk about using 'church tongue'. So my question is..... For those of you who are getting married at a church (or even a RH), have you given any thought of what your first kiss is going to be like? Have any of you practiced how you will kiss?

The second part of this question is... How do you and FH feel about PDA? Does it make you nervous at all to be so openly affectionate in front of potentially hundreds of people or is that something that does not phase you?

FH and I have not gone so far as to 'practice' our first kiss but I am sure once it gets down to the wire I will be freaking out SO much that I will have to run a couple of trials before the day! lol

I asked the second part of the question because PDA makes me very uncomfortable.. I know it sounds weird but I don't care if I am 35 with 4 children, I still want my parents to think of me as this pure virgin angel, ESPECIALLY my dad!!! It might sound weird but the idea of having to kiss FH like 47 times in one night in front of both of our whole familes makes me a bit nervous!

We haen't practiced just yet.... but I sure do plan on practicing! HAHAHAH!
PDA - not super comfortable with it.... but I'm sure Grey Goose will sure help me out with that!!!!

We haven't practiced and I don't think we will...knowing Brad we woud 'practice' practice and he would still dip me back or lick my cheek or something stupid!

As for PDA we are ok with giving a little kiss here and there but no making out in public for us!

First of all, CONGRATS BOTW!!

I'm guessing our first kiss will be a long peck...we haven't practiced or anything (maybe we should?)

PDA-we're definitely not nervous about it in front of people because we will be very PG..our friends and families always see us holding hands, hugging, and stealing a quick smooch here and there. So I guess it doesn't phase us.

we haven't really talked about the first kiss, i kind of want it to be spontaneous...

although, we had a KISS CAM disaster once. we were on our way to a Mets game, talking about the kiss cam and how we really want to be on it one day. so we decided to practice how we would kiss if we ever got on it. apparently we were a little too excited just talking about it, completely smashed our mouths together by accident and i got a fat lip and it was all bloody... WHO DOES THAT???

anywho...

we are all for the tame PDA, no making out in public though. holding hands, hands on the knee, little smooches here and there.

I love that scene too!!!

We haven't talked about it yet, but I'm sure when it gets closer i will bring it up! Prob just a long no tongue kiss.

As far as PDA, I am a little uncomfortable around my family, but not his. weird, i know...but it other public places, like hand holding and a little peck, no making out and groping!

we havent 'practiced' yet but im sure ill make him later on, I also am super self concious and kissing him all night in front of all those people makes me uncomfortable, and FH is the same way. I get embarressed very easily. we are affectionate in public but sooo not the make out in line at the food store type more like hold hands while crossing the street

Congrats on BOTW!!! We haven't practiced but we pretty much know what to do and we really don't mind being overly affectionate in public lol.

We haven't practiced our first kiss, but I can't imagine it being too wild, it will be in church, and a pretty conservative church. PDA is weird, because we hold hands all the time out, and if I'm around strangers I have no problem with a hug or a kiss, and I'm so not warm and fuzzy, but as soon as I'm around our family I clam up, so I don't know how I'm going to be.

Part I: Probably will leave out the tongue on our kiss, you can have a passionate kiss without tongue.

Part II: I am not huge on PDA, particularly kissing in public. Hugging and hand holding and being affectionate is fine, even little kisses, but making out or big kisses bothers me. As for the wedding though, the day is about us being in love and everyone will be there to celebrate us being in love. So bring on the PDA.

No, we have not practiced yet but I will prob beg him to, not that I want it to be rehearsed, just so we don't bump heads or anything lol

As for PDA, at most we will hold hands, and sneak a quick peck. Not a fan of extreme PDA ...we wont blatantly make out etc....

ok we have def talked bout the kiss...slight opn mouth..no tounge..then a peck after---looks better than im making it sound lol


as for pda--i dont mind some kissing hugginh anything like that but if see two people humping on a train i want to go over and throw a condom at them

We haven't practiced our 'first kiss' but I'm not too worried. Now with regards to PDA, what I am worried about is FH grabbing something he shouldn't We are always joking around like that (even in front of our families) so I hope he doesn't forget where we are At least we won't be in a church if he does slip up!

2. i love kissing my fh and i do it everywhere !!! (no gross making out sessions, just loving sweet kissies !!!) so kissing him in front of everyone is NOOO problem for me... i'm actually very excited about it !!!
