QOTD 4/7/09

Good Morning!!!!

Today's QOTD stems from a conversation FH and I have on a regular basis... My job tends to stress me out a lot and FH seems to think that if I had a hobby, I would feel less stressed. I always tell him that I love to read and that is my biggest hobby but apparently that is not good enough.. So here are a bunch of hobby related questions (you obviously don't have to answer them all!)

What kind of hobbies do you have? Does FH have any? Does he have any hobbies that make you go :rollseyes: or do you have any that maybe he thinks are lame? In addition, do you guys have any hobbies that you do together (ie: jogging, taking a class, etc..)

As I said above my main hobby is reading. I read about a book a week and it definitely helps calm me down (but apparently not enough!)..I would love to start a jogging routine with FH but he doesn't seem all that interested in doing it. His main hobbies are playing video games, reading comic books, playing Magic and World of Warcraft (apparently I am marrying a 12 year old! ).. I think most of his hobbies are cute actually but the Magic really makes me go :rollseyes: because he always seems to play the night before we have to wake up early to do something important. He will stay up until 6am playing and then I have to fight with him to wake him up! That can get annoying!!

My hobby is also reading. I read as much as I can. FH is a lot more active than I am. He is both on a bowling and softball league. He loves being outdoors.

My hobby is definitely working out. I love going to the gym and taking all of the cardio and body sculpting classes. FH also loves to go to the gym. I feel great and it definitely relieves stress.

My hobby is basically wedding planning and now doing little arts and crafts projects lol. FH's hobby is playing video games and paintballing. We really don't have a hobby that we both share. We do our own thing.

What kind of hobbies do you have? Scrap booking is my relaxing hobby. It mellows me out. I also like doing other crafts (though I really haven't gotten into wedding DIYs). I also like to play tennis.

Does FH have any? His hobby is playing with boats and boat motors, he fixes up old motors. He also likes fixing things. He is a total engineer. None of his hobbies are things that seem relaxing to me.

In addition, do you guys have any hobbies that you do together (ie: jogging, taking a class, etc..) We love biking together.

My hobby is sitting here chatting with you ladies Fh likes to do home repairs. The hobbie we do together is boating and going to the beach.

My hobby is scrapbooking and reading. Although as of late it has become wedding planning.

Fh has waayyy too many hobbies. Skiing, Scuba diving, rock climbing, riding his motorcycle, and he's new one... golfing. I like all of them except golfing. I've never tried, but I don't want to be a golf widow.

Right now we don't have any hobbies we do together because we live in different states, but when we are together spend time doing each other's hobbies together... He even scrapbooks with me (so sweet).

I'm also a HUGE reader (usually 2 books a week) and I also knit. It relaxes me.

FH's hobbies are: every type of sport imaginable. He plays on 2 softball leagues, dek hockey, bowling, golf, etc.

Together: we both love to travel and hike.

sports sports sports....we go to met and islander games all the time...we play softball together and basketball too...its what we love to do

My hobby is crocheting and knitting...crocheting moreso though, I'm so fidgety that I need to keep my fingers busy. I obviously haven't had time to do it in a long time though. I also like to read, and is scheming a hobby? I'm always thinking of my next great business venture and money making opportunity, yet I never follow through on it. So I guess that's the one that FH rolls his eyes at me for.

FH has a ton of hobbies, too many really. Photography, video games, hockey, obsessing over his car and its maintenance. I pretty much roll my eyes at all of them. Not so much the photography, but it bothers me because when we go out he always brings his camera, and we can never just enjoy something, it always turns into a photo expedition.

Together, we go to Islanders games, and we go walking in parks (although it turns into his photography), or go to the beach and out east to wineries (also turns into his photography ).

My only hobby would have to be reading.

I've tried to pick up crotcheting and my fingers just won't do it lol.

FH's hobby is pretty much his cigars. He has so many that he has to keep some at work lol.

Can't say we really have any shared hobby though.

Before we were engaged I was a big reader ( suspense/ legal thrillers etc) but now I'd say my hobbies are sleep and wedding planning lol oh and eating

My hobbies. . hmm . .def reading, writing, yoga, working out ...

FH is too busy now to have hobbies with school, work . but likes to ride bikes, play online poker

we do ride bikes and walk a lot together. . go out to eat, cook, play board games. ..
oh my ROLL EYES - he LOVES lord of the rings. .can watch it again and again and again.

Fh's hobbies are the Gym, Cooking, and Reading


Together we jog & play Wii.
