When you were growing up, what was your dream job?
As you got older, did that dream job change? If so, to what?
Are you working at your dream job? If no, why not?

i wanted to be a baker when i was growing up. i love baking that would be my dream job. right now, i'm a clerk for the federal government. not my dream job but it pays the bills and the hours are great. i still like to bake just for a hobby now.

I wanted to be either a Marine Biologist or a Teacher. Since I love marinelife but am horrible at science I went for the math.

i have always wanted to be a teacher!!
i had landed my dream job in my dream school, and it turned out to be the two most awful years of my life...
i still want to be a teacher, and trying not to lose faith in the system! since i just moved to SC, i've been subbing and hope for a full time job for next year!

My dream job changed ALOT when I was a kid... aerobics instructor, teacher, actress, dancer
I didnt end up doing any of this. I started out school as a teacher but dropped that my sophomore year of college. The furthest I went with dancing was dancing on my college's dance team. I never became an actress or an aerobics instructor either lol
I am definately NOT working at my dream job. I am a paralegal and the type of law im doing is not something ive ever wanted to do. I always wanted to do real estate or elder law and somehow i got to do foreclosures

My dream job growing up was being a lawyer.
As I got older I think I still wanted to be a lawyer, but once I entered the world of the internet I realized THIS is what I really want to do.
Yes, I am absolutely at my dream job. I get to work Online and I get to work for the Internets largest wedding website, The Knot.
I think the only thing I want is to stay at The Knot but I eventually want to be promoted to Director of Search Marketing and then one day the VP. Right now Im a manager.

Growing up I wanted to be a Veterinarian or a Nurse. I am now a teacher. I didn't do my dream job because I hate blood and pass out everytime I have blood taken. I figured that probably wouldn't work with either of those jobs. I do love my job now though.
