**QOTD 4/11/14**

Good Morning! Happy Friday!

Today's question comes from something I've been asked a few times the past week or so. I am a teacher and we are off next week for Spring Break. Some of my coworkers have asked if I was going away and my answer has been 'No, we are saving for the wedding'. Being that we aren't taking vacations right now, I have thought about the ones we've been on together and how much fun we have had. My favorite vacation we took together was the cruise we went on last year for my 30th birthday. It was my first cruise and I absolutely loved it. We visited Nassau Bahamas, San Juan and St. Thomas and all were beautiful. St. Thomas was my favorite and would love to go back. We have also been to New Orleans, Miami, Washington D.C. and Chicago together and have loved each place for different reasons. We are going to try to do some 1 day or 1 night road trips so we don't go stir crazy staying in NY all summer. The next big trip we will take is our honeymoon which we are thinking Mediterranean cruise or an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean (depending on price).

So, what has been your favorite vacation you and FH have taken together? Are you holding off on trips due to saving money for the wedding? Where do you want to go or are definitely going for your honeymoon?

My favorite vacation we went on together was to a place called Flagler Beach, FL, a small and cute town in between Daytona and St. Augustine. We are actually going again this upcoming May- although we are trying to save money for the wedding – we asked for Southwest gc’s for Christmas/birthdays to pay for the flight, and the place we are staying is owned by a friend so they are letting us borrow it. All we really have to pay for is the rental car and spending money – so that is how we were able to still go while saving money ?

As for our honeymoon – I am not sure where we are going, however another friend of ours wants to give us their timeshare as a wedding gift which we are VERY grateful for! We are going to sit down with them when it gets a little closer and figure out where to go

FH and I have only been away for a weekend here and there, but Sunday we are leaving for Punta Cana. I cannot wait! We found an amazing groupon deal a few months ago (I love Groupon). As for my favorite trip with him, I would say Boston. It was just a really fun weekend and getting to know one another better. It was early on in our relationship.

For our Honeymoon, we are definitely doing parts of Europe. Right now we have it narrowed down to Greece and Italy. We might just do one or do a little bit of both

FH and I really haven't taken a full vacation together. This past summer we went to Cleveland for a dance competition that was for 5 days. But we never really got to do anything just the two of us bc we were running around doing things and spending time with 1700 of our closets friends. We are planning a trip to Germany this Sept with his dance group so hopefully that will be a fun time. Only downfall is that we will be with his family and our dance group and other people that we know.

As for our honeymoon we are talking Croatia. We both want to do something that we will never do and make it a once in a lifetime trip before the 'baby making' (as my uncle says) starts.
