QOTD 4/14**

Hi Ladies - super excited to be the BOTW! Sorry the question is coming so late in the day - busy day at work.

My question is (sorry if it's been asked before but I am curious ) : How did you and your FH meet?

My FH and I met at the bar that he is a chef at. I would hang out there after shows becuase I worked at a local theatre next door. We were actually friendly for a few years before we started dating!

My brother worked with FH at Best Buy. I had never even heard of him before and then my brother came home one night talking about this great guy who, while they were at Applebee's, got a glass of ice dropped in his lap by a coworker pulling a prank. I asked 'What did he do to her?!' and my brother said 'Nothing, he just said 'I make your schedule...see if you get any hours now.' I thought that was such a cool response. I then asked the 3 most important questions:
'Does he have blue eyes?' (Yes)
'Does he like hockey?' YES, he's a die hard Islanders fan just like me
'Is he single?' Yes
So I asked to meet this guy.
2 days later we met at a different Applebees and we've been together ever since.
It was 4 years on 3/16 and we got engaged on 4/6 at CitiField

I dated his best friend.....who is groomsmen I'm our wedding! :) we ended in a good note but I remember when he came into the room for the first time I torn to my now moh and said omg it's that Ricks friend she said oh yea that's Dan, I was like omg he is so hot lol we hung out for a while as friends, I chased and chased till I caught that big fish! Lol

I met him at my first job, he was a chef and I was a server, I was 16 he was 20, we remained friends for 8 years!!! ( he totally wanted to date me for about 5 years lol) so after some hangouts that turned into dates, we fell in love :) and yes, he's an executive chef now and cooks all the time lol

We met when he moved next door to me when we were like 13. He became friends with my brother and developed a big crush on me. He used to write me cheesy love notes all the time and then I finally decided to go out with him lol. We still have some of the notes!! :)

FH was friends with my friend's older brother,we hangout at the same house parties for 5 years and never met (I was social butterfly in the front of the house, and he was really shy and stayed close by his friends who were always playing drinking games in the back room of the house)! Finally, one day in 2009 a small group of our friends went to the city for someones birthday and we literally bumped into each other when I was trying to do the cupid shuffle at a bar called Sutton's place...and well the rest is history ;)

We've known each other since we were about 12 years old through our German Dance groups. Our two groups have always been friendly and we have always had a hi bye type relationship until his step cousin kind of made me go to a dance I had no intention of going to. That night he drunkenly asked me to dance and it has been history since. According to FH he has always thought I was beautiful but he has always been to shy to even try and make some sort of move.

QOTD 4/14**

We met at Studio Square Beer Garden in Astoria Queens. Neither one of us was supposed to be there that night (both had different plans that didn't happen). My MOH and I were on line for food and some guy came up to us and started talking to us. About a half hour later the rest of our group left and we decided to stay for a little while longer. That same guy came back up to us and told us to come sit with his group of friends. We went to their table and that's where I met FH. We started talking (he was impressed I guessed he was 30, he has a baby face) and exchanged numbers at the end of the night. We met on a Friday and that Sunday he called me and we talked for over 2 hours. Went on our first date that Wednesday and the rest is history. I recently saw one of his friends that was with him the night we met and I thanked her for bringing her friend (the guy who invited us to his table) because without him, I never would have met FH. I also thank the fact that my friends and I were being lazy that night and didn't feel like going into the city and just wanted to stay in Queens!

Opening day at citi field 4/8/2011 (but in McFaddens). He stood on the back of my chair to try to get the bartenders attention and from there we've pretty much been inseparable.... Also it was a day when I was feeling like my worse, major pms'ing and just feeling blah and definitely not looking to meet anyone. So majorly cliché but happened when I LEAST expected it...
