QOTD 4/15/12

I just want to thank Kat for making me the BOTW!! Soo excited!!

Today we got our sample invitations in. So my first question will be a two part question.

Where did you get your invitations and how did you feel when you got your sample invitation in??

We are working with Cathy from Invitation Sensation and I love her!! She is sooo nice and has really been great to work with! When I saw the sample it truly felt so real to see our names and the date and everything together. It was an amazing feeling!! And i loved how the vision came together!!

My FBIL, a graphic designer, and I collaborated on our invites. I came up with the concept and basic design, and he made it look even better than what was in my head!
I was soooo excited when we got our first draft, and since then have only had to make very minor changes to make it more invitation-like (it's extremely non-traditional!) so people don't throw it out, not realizing what it is!

I am getting my invitations through exclusivelyweddings.com. I just completely the design. I will probably place my order today. I probably won't get it for a few weeks. Its a calla lilly which is my theme/center piece. I am not crazy about invites because I feel people just through them out!!! Also from everyones responses it seems to be a pain in the neck with the rsvp. So I am not looking forward to it!!!
