Good morning all! I am posting this early, I have my class today.

What is your favorite thing about being engaged?

I love the planning. The reseach before booking my vendors and ording my my stuff

Lol, having something to fill my boring life...ok j/k, um not really. In all honestly, I agree with you thouigh, I love the researching and then seeing it all come together as far as the wedding goes but just being engaged in genergal, I love knowing that we are soon going spend the rest of our life together and being able to look at each other and know that and also never everyone else knows it...im sure this happened to other girls, when your in a relationship for a while already, people always ask so are you getting married already and probally start to doubt that you guys are really going to do it so now they know! Oh and I love saying 'fiance' its so much more official then boyfriend, LOL

I love the planning as well! especially the 'reason' to go shopping for things and spending a little more $ on certain items that I would normally be going the cheapest route on.

I love the planning too! I have been wanting to get married since I was born. I also love all the attention we get! Also, I love staring at my ring

I like the planning..And lately i have just been thinking alot about the beginning of our relationship and how we got to this point, and it makes me all sentimental and thankful for what we have and that we outlasted what everyone else thought...

It's also hard to put into words how I feel now about our relationship and FH. I mean I'm wearing the down payment for his corvette on my finger. If that isn't love??? LOL
No, seriously, I knew he loved me, but I didn't think he loved me enough to make that special committment to get (and stay) married.

definitely the planning! I love constantly having something to do, something to decide on, pictures to look at etc. I think it is so much fun. Oh and getting to wear my ring everyday is fun too!

I love thinking about the actual day itself... like, i can't wait to walk down the aisle and to see everything i'm planning come together... I also love staring at my ring and being called somebody's fiance

Knowing that I don't have to date anymore!

Ok seriously though. I have girlfriends out there who are still (or just back) into the dating scene, and I DO NOT envy them at all. I love not having to worry about impressing people and being able to hang out in jeans, a t-shirt, and no makeup if I want to.

I also love knowing that FH loves me enough to want to spend the rest of his life with me and make that commitment. Knowing that no matter what, I have him to turn to and that HE doesn't want to be out looking elsewhere either.

Finally, I (also) LOVE the planning! I'm a very type A personality, so this goes great for me! I'm always playing hostess at home, so this comes really natural to me. It's the biggest party I'll ever host!

ETA: and of course, my ring and all the compliments I get on it

i love the anticipation. The engagement and looking forward to the wedding gives me something else I really needed to get through my masters program. Then when thats over in august im excited to really have the time to focus on the wedding detials!

I just love being engaged because I know a year from now that we'll be husband and wife and that just excites me. I love being able to say that he's my future husband. And planning for our wedding is exciting too

I would say the fact that it has brought FH and I closer in many ways and that I absolutely love the planning process!!!!

Planning and researching can be fun. But mainly painting the picture of what the day will look like in the end and planning our apt and overall life together. Believe it or not, saving money makes me happy! LOL If we can continue this routine after the wedding, we'll be able to buy a house. So...yeah...the planning is my fave part
