Let's 'Taulk' Weddings! specifically walking down the aisle.
I'm getting married on the beach in the summer....IT WILL BE NICE OUT! lol....so I want to have an arch with blue and white draped light weight material with a blue runner and lanterns with candles to light the pathway during the sunset. lastly my venue plants palm trees so those will be there too!.... ahhhh romance....I wanted white rose petals too but i was advised that they just end up blowing away.
How do you girls plan on decorating you aisle? is it outside? inside? or in a church/temple/mosque? ...show me your ideas from Pintrest(you all have one i know it! lol) if you can! :)

Holly that sounds beautiful !!!! Our ceremony is in my church, so really nothing fancy for decor, just what the church has... HOWEVER, I am hoping and praying since we are having a mid-january wedding that the weather will be of mild temps, maybe a fresh light dusting on the ground to make for pretty pictures and also a light flurry but if not I found this awesome product taht I am going to give out to the guests to throw instead of rice or bird seed that looks like snow !!! Super excited about that :)

That's so pretty!
My ceremony will be at Fox Hollow, they do all of the decorations.Since my coloras are different shades of purples, I might add some purple flowers, but at the same time, they will only be there for 30 minutes so what is the point! Flowers are so expensive :)

We are getting married in a church and there isn't really much for us to do. We could do the traditional bows on the pews but I am not a huge fan of that. I feel like it is very old fashioned looking, and I was quoted $200 for 10 bows from our florist...no thank you! Lol I started googling things we could do I found a cute idea, picture frames that we can hang on the pews instead of bows. Since my color scheme is black and white I think I am going to alternate black and white frames. And I will use our engagement photos as the pictures. Here is an example:

That's so cute and unique! I haven't thought much about church decor, but I know I don't want bows on the pews. I'd rather them just be plain.

I'm getting married in a church too, but I plan on trying to do the things I wanted for our grand entrance in the hall. Which is really only one thing....our theme is nothing will jinx our love bc we are lucky in love (getting married on Friday the 13th) so we want to do a few superstitions here I'm taking about don't walk under a ladder......I want to make a ladder into an archway for us to walk under! Our grand entrance will start with us coming out of a hidden staircase!!!!
Our venue has an indoor chapel which FH and I are completely in LOVE with and what made us book with The Watermill! They decorate the room with white flowers (we can add more if we want but since our colors are black and white and I love white flowers we don't have to). They also not feature uplighting which is pretty cool (2nd pic below).. Not sure if I will use it for the ceremony though, maybe in a dim amber color for when the guests are entering?
