Since the royal wedding today I figured I would make my question about it. how do you think you and fh would feel if you were Kate and William right now?
I honestly think I would be miserable. I'm not one for the spot light and idea of standing up in front of people at the church saying my vows already freaks me out I couldn't imagine being in front of the world.

I don't think I would love being in the spotlight but I could imagine it would be so amazing to have many people cheering for you. That part alone gives me goosebumps! I would also love to be married in such a beautiful old church

I don't think we would like it. To be honest, this doesn't seem like it is their wedding, it seems like it is every body else's wedding, and there are wayyyy too many rules they have too follow. EVERYYTHING is planned out, down to when and where they are going to kiss, COME ON! Too much for us.

ehh I think that's a little bit tooooo much attention for FH and I. I mean it would be great to get married in such a beautiful church and and have a reception at an actual palace but ehhh, not for us. Also, I can't imagine that being the type of reception either of us would want lol

I would hate it! I'd be so nervous I'd probably be shaking and a mess!!! I do not like being the center of attention, I had anxiety for my engagement party! LOL
FH would LOVE it! He is a total ham and LOVES all eyes on him!!

I agree with this too. A wedding like this is more about the people and the country than it is about the two of them. Granted it's completely clear that they love each other very much and are both very happy to be married to one another, but all the hype is about the tradition of all of it. Even while I was watching the recessional from the church and the drive to Buckingham (the only part of the wedding I watched), the announcer on the channel I was watching was talking all about the traditional garb, and the history of the carriage they were in, and who this guy was in the royal army and who this person was and blah blah blah. I felt like I was watching the history channel LOL

I feel bad for Kate tho. Did anyone notice the smirks she kept giving? It almost looks like she wants to explode with joy but isn't allowed to.

I would love it!! I would feel like mia from princess diaries!! I gett to be royalty woot woot, probably get a stylist and some awesome bling!! I'd be so excited for my wedding and all the perks!!

I'm freaking out about the church too! I totally don't mind being the center of attention at the reception, but I'm SO nervous about the church! Sounds dumb, but we didn't have a full mass mostly for this reason

I totally with ya! I love my church and wanted to get married their bc the aisle is really short. The aisle at my regualr parish is one of the longest on LI. So I nixed that instantly.

I'm sure my fiance and I would do something crazy or unexpected that would give the queen a heart attack! We HATE sticking with tradition so we'd want to try to do something new and fun!

ITA with this. Although all the adoration would be nice ... it would be to stuffy f or me.
