Wedding planning can be extremely stressful and it can effect your personal life, spiritually, mentally and physically..
How has wedding planning effected your relationship with FH ? Have you learned things from him that you didnt know before? Or vice versa?
Answer: Wedding planning has bought us EVEN closer than before!! We discuss things more often and continue to manage our personal responsibilites on a day to day basis. FH has understood all my lil' tantrums lately and we solve the issue without it effecting our relationship. (I guess we are starting to get used to the fact the we are OFFICIALLY getting married and we will need to work things out regardless!! )
I've learned that FH is more concious of situtations than I thought so before. He really is involve in making decisions and helping out more in the overall spectrum of our relationship..

Honestly, the wedding planning has been a big strain on our relationship, and it alarms me because we are so fundamentally different, and this has made it very evident. We argue a lot more now, and I wish it could just go back to the way it was.

it has brought us so much closer..we found out so much more bout the other one..we talk so much more bout our future n family and we both have had a great say in the wedding..we plan together and let the other one have what they want..not just all one persons vision

It hasn't changed our relationship at all, really. I've always known that FH doesn't like it when I spend money on things he considers 'a waste' and I've always known that he considers much of the way a NY wedding is to be a complete waste of money.
That said, he's still supportive and loving and he's excited about getting married and going along with all the plans I'm making. Just like he always does. That's something that fits together so well with us -- I make the plans, and he enjoys whatever activities I plan.

wedding planning has cause me and FH to argue a heck of alot more but in doing that we have learned to compromise more!! it has been 2 years of planning and frankly we both cant wait to be done so we can start our lives together!!!

Its been so easy. FH is great, he knows me so well he expects my little stress outs and even with the house and student teaching he keeps me calm. He gets involved but knows when to just say, whatever you want honey. It's great.

Wedding Planning has not affected our relationship too much... if anything we are closer now just from the sheer excitement of actually getting married.
However, before we got engaged we went through a REALLY rough patch... but from that we got super close and then we got engaged. That rough patch really showed us that we can really make it through anything. I think whenever a couple goes through any sort of problems and really makes it though, it can really show the strength in the relationship.
Also, let's not forget the real purpose of the engagement time. Haha.. and it's not to save money for the wedding... but it's a time for stress and to be able to see how well you can conquer it and get passed that stage in an effort to prepare you for the trials and tribulations you will endure during your married time. With that being said, I really wouldn't worry too much about the fighting during this time... it's a testing phase... and you will make it through it just fine... and in the end it will bring you closer together and it will all be worth it.
