QOTD 4/8

Hi Ladies,

My 7 yr anniversary is actually today which is what inspired me to ask this: How did you and your FH meet?

FH and I met in High School in 9th grade Social Studies class. I remembered eying him 2 rows to the left of me. We were also in the same math class and I was giddy the first time he talked to me. We became friends throughout high school. I asked him to the school dance during junior year and he said no(I still bring this up to all our friends)

We became really close friends during senior year and just began dating. I really forget how everything happened, all I remembered is that I asked him to prom. haha. 7 years into it and happier than ever!

I went to elementary school with FH's brother
(K-6th grade)
FH is two years younger than me so we didn't really 'know' each other back then. We just knew OF each other.

Fast forward to 2009...I joined FB and friend requested FH's brother and saw FH's photo pop up on those friend suggestion things. LOL.
I stared at that thing for like a month before requesting him. We had never spoken two words to one another. It was just one of those things that I had a feeling about.
I requested him and we spoke every single day online up until we met a few weeks later. There was an instant attraction. We fell in love and then became best friends.

I dont have a cute story either! Okcupid.com but we are so compatible and fell in love quick. We got engaged after like 6 months of dating. Not a romantic story either but hey when you know you know

FH and I met through a mutual friend. We first met one summer during college and couldn't stand each other. I clearly remember telling my friend 'please don't bring that awful guy around again.' We would see each other every once in a while when he would come down from Westchester to visit my friend. Then, nearly four years ago, we ran into each other at our friend's birthday celebration, spent the whole night talking and the rest is history!

FH and I were in the same bar. I was out with my friends from work and he was with his friends for a bday party. I was bored and pretending to watch the Met's game (which I REALLY didn't care about). He noticed me and started talking to me about the Mets (which he really DID care about) and we exchanged numbers. To my credit, I think I pulled out every Mets line and saying that I'd heard my dad and brothers utter over the previous months that day to sound like I knew what I was talking about.

He was probably surprised when we went to a Mets game a few weeks later and I was not super enthusiastic. LOL. I did have to tell him that I don't really like baseball!!

We met on okcupid.com (my MOH introduced me to the site!). I was actually a match for his friend and when FH saw me, he made a profile to talk to me!

We met at a bar watching a soccer game during the day. We had mutual friends and when I first saw him it was love at first sight. I knew I would marry him and here we are 5 years later LOL

I met FH at my first job. He and three of his friends had a bet of who would get my phone number first and he won (of course I did not know about the bet at the time). We talked on the phone that night for 7 hours and here we are almost 9 years later!!

We met in college, we both played lacrosse at cwpost. There was a party's one night And he asked me to be his beer pong partner. I was so bad he kicked me off the table. We found each other again a few months later and it's been downhill ever since! 12 years later

We met at an audition, even sang together. A year later, he was in between jobs and my waiter! We became friends on Facebook and then another year/year & a half later, we started dating!

Met my husband at a tailgate before an Islanders game, for the message board we both posted on. It's funny how we both had season tickets (in diff sections) at the same time, and probably passed each other zillions of times in the concourse, but never met until the tailgate. :)
