Today's question is NWR. Something my coworkers and I have spoken about is what we would be doing if we weren't teachers. So today's question is: If you could do anything else besides the job you are currently in, what would it be? Is it something you are passionate about or something you think would be an awesome job?
For me, I would definitely be in the baking industry in some way. I absolutely love to bake and decorate cakes, cupcakes and cookies. I have always thought about starting a little business on the side but don't actually have the guts to do it. My coworkers and I joke around that we will start a business together and I'll bake, one girl will be the cashier, one will make the coffee and another will fill the display cases. It's nice to dream and escape reality every once in a while! Can't wait to hear your responses!

I would love to be a veterinarian but don't think I'd have the guts to do it, so I always say I wish I could own an animal rescue. I'd love to save all the little furballs out there and help them find homes.

I would love to open my own restaurant. I LOVE being in the kitchen. Any chance I can I am making something. Sometimes I wish I had people around that I could make stuff for more often.

I would most likely be a teacher. I was very close to going to school for education, but decided on business/marketing at the last minute. Love my current job (I am a media planner) butsoemtimes I think about what it would be like if I followed through with teaching - especially since I wouldnt ave the 2 hr commute each way to and from NYC for work!

If I didn't have to worry about.money, I'd get back into photography. I took it in college worked at the picture people when they were in sunrise mall and loved it. I think I would do more of the starving artist type work. Lol go out take shots of whatever I want and try to sell them. I miss it sometimes. The dark room was my peaceful space just me andymy machine! Oh yea none of this digital stuff, getting your hands wet and dirty was half the fun!!

I felt like I wrote your response myself! Lol... I am a substitute teacher currently, but would absolutely have loved to open a bakery. I love experimenting with baking new things. I'm always the go to person when someone needs something baked lol.

I am a teacher too, but if I weren't I would love to have a simple 9 - 5 job where I can interact with others... maybe customer service? Who knows, but something where I don't take work home with me. But I love my job and my students, even on days like today where 3 of my 6 staff members in my room were out and no substitute aides or TA's were provided and all 6 students with autism were present and ready to go..... :)

hmmmmm I dunno I probably would have gone to medical school if certain things in my life were different like if I came from a rich family or my parents didn't pass away. instead I went to nursing school and plan on getting my DNP eventually and specialize in cardiology.
