As some of you may know I am a bit of a movie geek. We are having music from movies for the processional, recessional and entrances to the reception for the wedding party and our parents.
We are even thinking of having a movie related cake topper. While the cake will have chocolate or real sea shells on it to go with the sea shells on the tables, we are thinking of having Wall-E and Eve Pez dispensers on top. This is a major change from our original plan of the cake and toppers, but we can't afford what we had hoped for. I did see a topper that might go with the cake, but FH would like to stick with Wall-E and Eve, it's fun and it's us.
There are so many types of cake toppers, initials, shells, funny figurines, romantic, hand made figurines, etc.
What do you plan to use as your cake topper?

Our dog! It was the only way to incorporate her into the wedding!
That's so cute! We were going to use a Mickey and Minnie his grandparents used at their 50th anniversary party but we couldn't find it so we just got a monogram C as a topper.

I didn't feel strongly about my caketopper, I didn't have any ideas I HAD to have, so I let FH take control. He surprised me by picking something very simple and classy and I love it!

We haven't picked our cake topper, I don't really feel strongly about it either. I just know I don't want a monogrammed letter or anything. My new last name will start with a U and it's bumming me out, lol.

FH does not eat sweets at all. So for us having a cake would be like faking it. Therefore, we don't have a cake topper.
Instead we decided to do a milkshake bar (with or without alcohol) and an italian ice bar as dessert for our guests.

Don't get bummed out, I have a friend whose married name starts with a U.
I didn't want a monogram either, ours is a J. I an just picture it tipping over from being top heavy. Actually that happened with my future nephews monogram and his was an M. I let the staff know before they saw it.
Another cousin of mine had Galadriel from Fellowship of the Ring and Godzilla for her husbands character. She said it suited them. lol
You can do whatever you want, or nothing, it's your wedding.

Beautiful! The other nice thing is you can use it again by having it as a decoration in your house/apartment.

We had a simple D on the top of the cake and banding around the edges. I didn't care too much about the cake to be honest - I love penguins though so we had two small silver glittered penguins on the cake table.

Haven't decided yet, but I want something cute and funny. There are a lot I have added to my favorites on esty, it's now just a matter of choosing which one!
