Qotd 5-2-11

Good Morning Ladies!!!

A special thanks to Spdy540 for making me the newest BTOW! I'm really excited, and hope that the questions I ask are ones that haven't been repeated!

Ok so here goes.......

Today (and last night) is one of the most joyous days in US history after we finally killed that monster. People all around the US, especially in NY where we suffered through 9-11, are feeling especially proud to be an American.

Describe a time where you felt most proud to be with FH - or an occasion, besides your engagement, where you felt overwhelming joy!!

Have an amazing day to all my 2011 Brides!!!
I'll be back later to answer my own question, but I have to get to work xoxo

I think this is a really good question.... I was super proud to be with FH after he basically saved my life and did the job of about 5 people in under a minute to get me out of a dangerous situation, I love my quick thinking military man

These responses are so heart warming - keep 'em coming ladies!!

Two years ago, I faced a very difficult situation with my job. I am a school teacher and times in education are tough. Basically, I was facing unemployment for the very first time and my chairperson was less than supportive. I became severly depressed and couldn't get myself to 'live'. FH was the only one who could get through to me. He helped me realize my potential and never gave up. Now, after both of us being excessed last year, a proposal that came when both of us were unemployed, we have a full time job - and I'm stronger than ever.

I'm so lucky that he has given me the chance - he is my life :)

Last year was the first year that FH felt comfortable with going to Survivor Day at Noth Shore LIJ.

He had just reached 5 years cancer free and when he asked me/told me about survivor day I was SOOOOO honored to be with him that day. I met so many other survivors, those he knew and those he just met that day.

I met some of his past doctor's and even a woman who motivated FH to get out of bed when he was going through treatment since they were on the 7th floor together.

He had such a huge smile on his face and I was so proud to be by his side celebrating such an amazing feat.

He also just mentioned this year's survivor day so we'll be going back again

I'm always proud FH. I was proud of him when he got promoted at TSA and I am proud and grateful for the way he took care of me and my mother after my grandfather died. He's always a source of strength and comfort to all of friends and family. He's just an honorable person.
