QOTD 5/11

So FH brought up babies yesterday with it being mothers day and all... He goes:
we will be celebrating mothers day for your soon....

after almost having a heart attack that it was the first time he outright said he wants to start having kids soon, i got excited.

So ladies : What is one think that FH has said to you during this planning process that at first you are like what the Hel l ?! Are you kidding? and then you are so happy that you want to kiss him?

It might sound silly, but at the very beginning right after we got engaged, we went to B&N and I bought a book on wedding planning. In it were these checklists of things that you had to rank as 'very important' 'important' 'not so important' 'who cares'

Most of them he ranked 'not so important' and 'who cares' (because he doesn't understand why weddings are such a big deal in NY, as he puts it)...

But what surprised me was that there was one that said 'manicure and pedicure for bride' and he ranked it as 'very important' -- he said he wants me to feel happy and pampered and to look beautiful.

It made me feel very loved by his attention to such a little detail. I'm so crazy about him.

that the invitation quality was important to him .. at 1st i was like who cares people throw them out but then i realized he just wants everything to pretty and classy just like me

The Cake and he wanted a GOBO light with our names across the floor lol I thought that was the most cutest thing he requested.

well his one stupid question was..does every table need a cp?

they look i gave him was a mix of sheer embarrasment and confusion lol

the best things he ever did was simply ask me to be his wife

I dont think ive had one of those moments yet! FH kind of let me do want I want although he throws his two cents in on everything so its like I get what I want but sometimes I get his version of what I want!

Probably that he said we don't need CPs LOL. At first I was like are you really serious that you just said that? But then we found the goblets we're using, which are literally a hair of the price that Floral CPs would have been, so then I was so happy I could kiss him (and spend the 1000 extra we saved on flowers that just die on other parts of the wedding, but he doesn't quite know that part yet )

hahahah good call with the extra money!!! i love when guys say stupid things but then u thik about it and are happy!!

FH wanted to put a bow a bucket of beer and call it a centerpiece!

I was impressed though that he really liked the idea that the flower girls are not wearing white....when I told him I wasnt asking his opinion but he liked it so it was ok to have one at that point...
