Good morning!! So happy to finally get to do the QOTD this week :)
So today's question is: Whether you bought your dress yet or not, was there/is there a 'dream' wedding dress that you saw on a celebrity or online that you just HAD to have, but the budget just didn't allow you to be able to buy it?
My answer: I always wanted Jessica Simpson's Vera Wang Gown from her wedding to Nick Lachey, and I literally have had a picture of it in my closet at home since 2006 (no joke, I know I'm freakin' nuts)! But, it's a Wang, so obviously I wasn't going to be able to buy it. But, I went to Pronovias in NYC with my mom after only going to two other salons on LI (bridal reflections and Lillette's in Bellemore), and found a dress so incredibly similar to Jessica Simpson's dress! I swear it was fate, because her wedding was almost 7 years ago, and I was 100% sure that I wouldn't find any dress like hers! Anyway, here's a few pics of her dress and then mine (Vera Wang is the first two pics, and mine is the last one)
I honestly don't have a dream dress. In fact even going through all these magazines I still haven't seen one that I said OMG i need to try this one on.

OOOH love it. I'm a big lace fan too! ok give me a minute I will edit this to add pics of my dream dress...mind you I haven't even gone dress shopping, so this is allllllll a dream lol who knows what I will end up loving...
I have many ideas I like apparently lol...I guess when it comes down to it, I will have to see what style looks good and what we can fit in our (my mom's) budget lol

My dream isn't too exoensive but my mom wants to go to vows bridal salon after watching I found the gown so I may find something there and get a new dream. Anyway my dream dress is maggie sottero jenna

This was my dream dress when I was looking for dresses.
But after I realized that a mermaid/trumpet style dress looked better on me, I went with the dress that's in my album. THAT is now my dream dress.

I didn't have a 'dream dress' in mind I just knew I always wanted a big poofy princess gown and that's the dress I got!!

Honestly, I didn't have a dream dress. I had found a picture randomly online that I loved so I brought it with me but I wasn't SET on that. Luckily, my dream dress ended up being dress #2 that I tried on and bought! IN love with it.

I don't have a dream dress, because I'm paranoid about my body type and I don't want to set my heart on a certain style when there's a high probability that it won't suit me. So I guess when I go dress shopping, I'm just going to try on different dresses in different styles within my budget, and see what I say yes to..

My dream dress was always Kate Hudson's Vera Wang in Bride Wars...I always wanted a big Vera Wang ballgown! And of course...my dress looks absolutely nothing like it. But I'll always love this dress!

I love Monique Lhuiller Sunday Rose! The work is so detailed all roses on the bottom! But my dress looks nothing like that. I can glady say I bought my new dream dress i love love love it
I originally was OBSESSED with a SHORT dress. Specifically Maggie Sottero Isadora Ann (see below) I was soooo sure that I'd end up with this dress or any other Maggie Sottero dress because I LOOOOVEEE her dresses!
Welp... I just put down a deposit on my NEW dream dress. A Demetrios dress that is just STUNNING!!!

I got my dress at David's bridal. It's the perfect dress for me, I never had a 'dream dress'.

My dream dress was basically my prom dress. I always said 'I want my prom dress in ivory' haha! It was vintage esque and timeless..the shape was what I loved! If you old imagine. Loose-fitting non-poofy/fluffy ffit and flare that was the shape... But wedding dresses shaped like that are super tight on top and none of them would even go over my butt. The shape translated into wedding just didn't work!

I have this one dress that I found in a magazine and fell in love with. I found out that RK Bridal has it and a few other places. When I finally do go to look for a dress I'm going to keep an open mind. I want to try on all styles of dresses as I don't know what will look good on me and then towards the end I will try the dream dress on and see. I don't want to fall for it right away I want to give myself the opportunity of other dresses.
