QOTD - 5/15

Are you planning on getting FH a gift, card, or something else to give him the day of your wedding?

I am planning to do a few things for FH the day of our wedding. I'm going to write him a little love letter with some memories. I am also planning to get him custom engraved collar stays with our wedding date on them (probably from Etsy). Lastly, I was going to try to make some sort of photo montage of our relationship for him. I don't have a clear picture of what form that will take yet though.

I got him a groom's cake that will be at the rehearsal, and a matching cake topper that I will probably bring to the wedding that day- I also got him a bulova watch from macy's last week during the friends and family sale because it was in the 200s! I knew it was a steal so I took advantage of it- Then I stole a watch from my FH when he wasn't looking and had macy's take a few links out so that it will fit him on the wedding day :)

I'm also doing something similar, and got him some things he's pretty into. I bought him a DSLR since he's always wanted one. He's been annoyed with me bc I've been talking him out of getting one for the past few months, but its bc I already bought him one. lol I also got him an iPad with a photo montage of all the pics that chronologies our relationship, starting from when we first met, our first date, to our engagement etc. I've also started writing my letter to him, but am finding it hard to put all my feelings about him into words, so its still not finished yet. lol I also bought him a pair of socks to wear the day of, and a groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner.

OMG i love the iPad idea!! I might borrow that for FH's photo montage project. Thanks for sharing!

we aren't exchanging gifts because we didn't want the added pressure on each other for the big day. I did get him a groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner though as a surprise!

I am getting him a grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner, a 'man card' bottle opener (this is an inside joke from our first date lol), I will probably put together some sort of grooms survival kit for the morning of and I am definitely doing a letter. We both want to buy each other gifts, but didn't want to go overboard, as the wedding is taking a toll on our bank accounts as it is! lol

We're keeping it simple with just letters. We're gonna buy each other gifts on our honeymoon since we won't be so broke once the party's over lol

we are keeping it simple to not add extra pressure. I will prob write a letter to him and do one of the survival kits. I love that idea and gonna look this up on pintrest! I think he will appreciate that cause he is gonna be super nervous since he is shy lol!

I plan to get him a grooms cake!

I got DH a pair of map cufflinks - one was a map of Maui, where we got engaged, and the other is a map of Forest Hills, where our first home is. I also wrote him a letter and gave it to him the morning of the wedding.
