Good Morning girlies! Thanks again to Danielle for passing the torch on and I'm so excited to come up with questions!

So for todays question, they say you marry someone like your father, so what characteristics of your 'ol pop do you see in fh?

For me, my daddy is such a hard working determined man. Fh is the same way. Hell do what he needs to do to provide. They both work so much to get what they want in life. The work ethic is amazing in both of them.
I'd say another quality is stubborness. My fh is def. Not as bad as my dad, but they are both pretty set in their ways. I've had 26 years of being daddys girl, so I had good practice with the boo boo face/lip to have another 80 years with fh to persuade him!!

I think FH is alot like my father. I don't think there is any specific characteristic. They are both more introverted people...shy, quiet, would prefer NOT to be the center of attention, don't like meeting new people, usually answer you with one word sentances haha....I had 25 years to get used to my dad...so FH is a breeze to deal with haha

I <3 this question. My daddy's my hero, so FH has a lot to live up to lol. They're both extremely hard working and do what they need to do to make sure that they can provide for their families. IE: MY dad worked his *** off for us and when FH was unemployed he took a job at MCdonalds to make sure we made rent. They're both huge Yankee fans, into politics. Stubborn as mules...i think thery're the animal that's stubborn! Both have great taste in music. And they're both mushes when it comes to their daughters. (FH has a daughter from his first marriage.)

Good question!

I think the ONLY this my Dad and FH have in common is that they are bother very handy. They can fix anything.

Aside from that, they are total opposites! My Dad is very laid back and my FH is the most anal person I know!

I have to say the biggest thing they have in common is being sport nuts. They both love to watch and play sports! They are both good with number too - FH is a financial advisor and dad is a CPA.

FH and my dad are both very responsible and always try to take the most reasonable course of action for everything. and neither of them are very spontaneous.

FH is like my dad in the way he dotes on me. He goes crazy on holidays...even when I tell him not to.

My dad can fix or build anything sand he's teaching FH to be the same way.

My FH is a younger version of my dad. They have very similar personalities, they say the same crazy stuff, they like the same sports, bands, and SO many other things. Its almost creepy! I told my mom that he is JUST like my dad, and she said 'Then RUN!'

My FH is Polish just like my father. They have very similar views as well as sayings. They both have the ability to make up words to a song to make it apply to any situation. They both love to golf. They are very similar

My daddy and FH are your typical Italian men set in their ways. They are both extremely hard working and will do wat they need to do to provide. They are both very generous, loving and caring men, everyone always told me i would marry someone like my daddy, im so glad i found him

My FH is not like my father, he gets along with him great though. Even though my dad is wonderful too, my FH is a lot like my grandpa, even my mom thinks so. He's extremely handy, blue collar hardworking, outgoing, intense at times, stubborn at times, and if you cross him most likely he's done with you.

My FH and my Dad aren't all that alike, but they get along really well. My dad adores FH.

The one thing they do have in common is that they are both good with tools and housework. DH & Dad can do just about anything construction wise or fix wise. That's a great quality to have!

I think they only 3 things they have in commone are:
1 - work ethic
2 - the yankees/sports
3 - they both love me lol

LOL other then that they are VERY different but get along so well. Not too long ago my dad said to someone 'yea we like Mike, he's a good kid' and that made me feel really good.

Funny you asked this question on mother's day my aunt said to my cousin who is getting married in aug and me that we are both marrying men just like our fathers. I can see that the more fh hangs around daddy the more I see from talking about sports to politics and what they would do and do for me.

My Dad would do anything for my mother and I feel like FH is the exact same way with me. I feel like FH is doofy like my dad too!!!!!!!!

They are both pratically in the same line of work - My dad is your typical NY Italian Bricklayer and FH is your typical NY Irish hardwood floor installer LOL. I always kind knew I'd end up with a 'handy-man' cuz I always had a thing for guys in work boots and dirty jeans LOL

The both pretty much have the same outlook on things like family, money, lifestyle, etc. It's probably a big reason why they get along so well. I feel like half the time FH talks to my dad more often than I do! My dad has been getting FH a lot of side work to help us pay for the wedding which has seriously been a huge help!
