I totally forgot about this tradition until one of my friends asked me what I was doing.....

Are you planning on following tradition and wearing 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue'???

If so what are you wearing for each?

So far, I have:
Something old: Still unsure

Something new: DOJ from Thomas Knoell

Something borrowed: My grandmother's cocktail ring (she passed away when my mother was ten, so naturally I have never gotten to meet her - it's antique, gorgeous and meaningful)

Something blue: My garter has blue on it...

Can't wait to hear all of your creative plans and ideas!!

Something Old: My mom's pearls that my Grandma gave her on her wedding day!

Something New: My Grandma bought me pearl earrings and a bracelet.

Something Borrowed: (Can my mom's pearls count for this too?)

Something Blue: Haven't bought my garter yet. I might just borrow my mom's, so that would cover something borrowed and blue!

Something old: My grandmother's wedding band

Something new: My dress!

Something borrowed: Can someone lend me something?

Something blue: I might go for either garter, shoes, or pedicure.

Something old: my one earrings

Somethingbnew: dress

Something borrowed: did we decide in dads duct tape holding my insulin pump?

Something blue: underwear

Something old: picture of my grandmother for my bok

Something new: dress

Something borrowed: headpiece slip from my sister

Something blue: personalized dress tag that I will have sewn in my dress

Something old: My grandmother's charm bracelette wrapped around my bouquet

Something new: My dress/jewelry/etc.

Something borrowed: I have NO clue

Something blue- I'm either going to buy underwear or a grater with blue in it

I'm kinda superstitious so I'm definitely doing it!!

Something old: My mom has her garter from when she married my stepfather so I'm going to wear that.

Something new: EVERYTHING! LOL Dress, shoes, jewelery

Something blue: 'I Do' rhinestones on the bottom of my shoes

I'm still working on something borrowed!

Something old: not sure yet

Something new: my DOJ

Something borrowed: not sure yet

Something blue: my grandmother sapphire and diamond ring. she actually gave it to my mother a few years ago so im borrowing it from her and it is pretty old so i think i might be covered on all 3 with one ring

I didn't really follow (missing 2 of the 4):

Something New: Dress and DOJ from DH and FIL's.

Something Blue: the ring DH bought me on our first cruise together - it has blue and green stones.

I had nothing for Old and Borrowed.

Something old - Grandmother's rosary beads around my bouquet and her earrings

Something new - FH bought me little diamond studs (I have 6 holes in my right ear) for V-day this year

Something borrowed (and red which you'll understand if you're Sicillian) - mom's italian horn pinned into my bra

Something blue - my toes will be painted blue!!!!

Old - Lace from my moms veil made into a hankie

New - Everything (dress, shoes)

Borrowed - Penny to wear in the bottom of my shoe - my mom, grandma and aunt wore it

Blue - garter

Old: Not sure
New: DOJ and Dress and Veil...so everything. lol
Borrowed: working on that one still
Blue: My garter

Something Old: A Christening bonnet that my mom's aunt made. You take a stitch out and it becomes your wedding day hanky.

Something New: Dress, Shoes, everything pretty much!

Something Borrowed: Mom's diamond earrings

Something Blue: Label for the inside of my dress with my initials and wedding date.

Something old: My mother's opal necklace

Something new: My gown

Something borrowed: My great grandmother's cross

Something blue: My garter

Old:??? Have to talk Tony mom about this one! ???
New: dress
Borrowed: Necklace from family
Blue: The heel strip on my custom chucks!
