'The Best Gift is love; truthful, unselfish, unconditional and inexhaustible.'
AINT IT THE TRUTH?! lol While of course FH's love support & honesty will always be the most valuable, unconditional gift that keeps on giving that i could ever receive. Im still wondering...
What is the one gift that you have received from FH that you cherish?

Re: QOTD!
For me besides my ERING, It would definitely have to be my beautiful complete set of Shakespeare's Works. It came in a gorgeous leather case. It is very special to me because FH gave it to me as one of my Xmas gifts our very first one we celebrated together. I had said probably the first three months we started dating, how much i love reading him & how i enjoy his works & FH remembered and gave it to me. I LOVE IT! More than any of teh jewlery or fancy gifts. Thats the one i cherish most (besides the ering).

Re: QOTD!
For our first Christmas together he made me a scrapbook with the ticket from our first date, pics from our first vacation, a page with the words from our song and a few other pages. He always seems like Mr. Tough Guy so it was def unexpected!
Plus he added a page on to it when he proposed and tied the ring inside, so it's been my favorite present twice.

its nothing tangible, but he remembers what i wore the first time he ever saw me. it means so much to me, and to be honest i didn't even know he existed. i love him for that.

Besides my e-ring . For my 21st birthday he threw me a surprise party, I had absolutely no idea! It was the best birthday and the biggest surprise! I will never forget it!

Re: QOTD!
FH gave me this promise ring on Valentines day in 07. It was the sweetest thing. He said that he wanted to get engaged but wanted to buy my ring in cash and that it was coming soon. He pretty much kind of proposed and I knew I was getting my ring sooner or later. But I liked that he did that- that promise ring is so special to me.

Re: QOTD!
FH always gets me really great gifts, there are always so thoughtful. Of course I love my ering, but besides that I love the photobook he made for me last Christmas, its filled with pictures and memories from when we first started dating and he wrote a bunch of his own quotes around all the pictures..he did such a beautiful job!

Re: QOTD!
our second christmas together - i was stuck on the thought that he was going to propose - i dont know what was in my head - but i opened up a jewelry box and he had put a picture of the two of us in it (it had room for a photo on the top) - and on the inside he had put all of the things we had collected, love notes, sugar packets (they have alot of meaning ), and all of the cute things i had saved in a shoebox about him, and buried underneath all of that was a ring box - i know right now your probably like because i was too - i was more like and getting very excited - i dont think FH caught on to what I thought it was at that point - i opened the ring box and it was a double hearted ring that i had been eyeing for a VERY long time... im glad he paid attention to what i wanted - but it was more embarassing that i thought it was and it wasnt - but to this day i still love that jewelry box and double hearted ring

Re: QOTD!
I would definitely have to say my E-ring. All of my gifts from FH up to this point have been practical in some way. So while external hard drives and spoonulas come in handy, I won't 'cherish' them like I will my E-ring. That I will wear forever and always be reminded of being young and in love.

Re: QOTD!
He bought me a diamond puzzle ring and a diamond bracelet so I'd have pretty jewelry to wear at my best friends wedding. I thought that was SUPER cool! (this is aside from e-ring of course)

Re: QOTD!
I love the essays of an author named R.J. Waller. Most of his essay books are no longer printed. Our first xmas FH travled to many second hand bookstores and found then and wrapped them for me. That was the best gift I ever received.

Re: QOTD!
his loyalty--it's so hard to find these days.
ETA: right, so you mean an actual gift. he gave me a copy of his first album before we started dating, and it's pretty sentimental.
