QOTD

QOTD

'we are shaped & fashioned by what we love'

that got me thinking of the old saying. They way a man treats his mother is the way he will treat you. do you find this true?

Re: QOTD

In my situation i believe it to be true... My fh is very good to his mother and she taught to be the most wonderful caring man that he has become today... so yes i thinks it very true

Re: QOTD

In my case I would say it is not true. FH is more loveable with me then his mother. He loves his mom very much but does not show as easy as he does with me.

I think so

I think so... although I hope he doesn't treat her EXACTLY like me...

Well FH is very close to his mother & grandmother. FH is extremely respectful & considerate & yes he has those qualities with me as well. So i believe sometimes that the saying is true.

I think it's true...he is so loving with her...he has a lot of siblings and you can tell he is her favorite and vice versa...

He doesnt really speak to his mother so not at all true in our case.

Re: QOTD

Definitely not. FH has a lot of issues with him mom (she's an addict who was physically and emotionally abusive). And while at times things are good between them, over all, there will always be issues between them and more than half the time he can't stand her. He tries to be civil with her, but overall he avoids her. With me, he worships the ground I walk on and can't get enough of me. There is a HUUUUUUUGE difference.

I'm not sure..... FH is really good to his mother BUT they don't see each other too often.

Re: QOTD

yes & no. my FH is good to his mother & me as well. but that's his nature. his relationship with his mother is weird. him & his mom yell at each other at times but that's how he grew up and he doesn't want our home to be like that. so in a way i guess he does treat us the same & in other ways he doesn't.

Yeah he is very respectful of his mother and treats her well. They are extremely close and he shares things with her that he wouldn't tell his father.

My FH is the same. He & his mother love each other very much, he would do anything for her, but they are always arguing. However, FH & I never really argue. Maybe 1x every 2-3 months?? I guess i'm lucky because of that

FH is very protective over his mother and also with me. So i guess in that way its true.

Re: QOTD

i've heard that and yes it's true in my situation. fh is such a mam's boy...he rarely ever tells me no and if he does I can usually sway him

Re: QOTD

fh is SUCH a mamas boy and she does sooo much for him still. I think he has put me into that situation for him, like having me baby him..which is fine until im preggo and then he'll be the one doing everything for me. But they have a good relationship which is nice to see

Yes, FH is always so respectful, helpful, and sweet with his mom and he's the same way with me.
