Yes I was...I was engaged 2xs before this . One was my son's father the other , I was sort of pushed into but, needless to say I dumped both of them cause it wasnt love. I did however love someone else in between them and FH but, he loved his job and boat more then he loved anyone...that took me 7 yrs.
I love FH and it is real......learned that the hard way.

I never really knew what love was until I was going out w/ FH... I thought I knew what it was but I was being fooled when in relationships.... I knew when FH and I started dating we would eventually get married.... I never thought I'd get married ever....and be the first out of my group of friends!

2 years before i met FH i got hurt really bad. I believe in love but b/c what i had been through i didnt think it would happen to me nor did i want itto b/c i wasafraid of getting hurt agian. I met my FH and tried and tried to pretend i didnt have feelings for him but he was soo sweet and soo good t ome no matterif i admitted it or not before i knew it i was inlove with himm :)

I never dated anyone seriously who I couldn't picture marrying. That was probably always a part of the decision whether to get serious. That's not to say I wanted to marry everyone I dated (there were alot of 'not so serious' ones) but if I really invested, it was because they held qualities I would want in a husband.

BUT, not until the FH did I KNOW that I WOULD be marrying this guy. From day one, I told everyone that somehow, someway, he would be in my life forever, even if just as a friend, and after date one . . . . well, that was it . . . . we haven't been apart since.

The funny part is that at that point, I thought, no, I won't get married, because every time I think the guy has the right qualities, he doesn't . . . . in reality, they just weren't the right ONE.

The FH is the right one, even though sometimes he drives me crazy (or maybe BECAUSE he drives me crazy sometimes) and I love him no matter what!!!!!!!

Berfore I met FH, I was with such jerks. I did not know what true love was until I met him. Before I met him I truly thought I was never going to get married or have kids. I am so glad I met him and we are starting our lives together now. My life has changed so much and I truely considered myself blessed.
