So sorry for the delay everyone I just logged on and saw I got picked for BOTW! Thanks for picking me! To be honest I've been slacking lately reading the questions of the day because of a crazy work/school schedule so hopefully none of my questions are repeats.
My question today is what has been the biggest challenge you have faced with wedding planning so far? Is it overbearing family members, no time, too many opinions, FH doesn't want to help, etc.?
I would say my biggest challenge so far has been finding the time and money to do things. I have so many ideas of different DIY things I want to try out for the wedding but no time to do it. I also find it really hard to travel to LI to book the vendors and try to stay on top of planning and school. Luckily, in two weeks I finally graduate and will hopefully have more time for planning!

My biggest challenge was the guest list. I wanted a small wedding and my FMIL was in agreement however with the lack of family on my side in attendance, she kinda overcompensated with hers. That being said my FH and I had to cut back on our list. We FINALLY came to middle ground and FH and I are much happier. Thank God!! :)

Our biggest challenge right now is figuring out how we are going to afford the wedding! Now that its less than a year away reality is starting to really sink in and we have to come up with the money!

Mine was finding the hall and budget. I wanted something different not a typical catering hall. But places that are not typical catering halls cost more money. So it was a tough choice to up my budget and go with what I wanted or stay within budget and go with a catering hall. In the end we did what felt right and can afford. We're on a strict budget if we continue following it we'll have just enough for everything we want.

I'm with you, time and money! My parents had some unexpected things come up preventing them from giving us as much as they expected and had originally told us. So now we need to come up with more than we thought! As far as time, I'm gone for work from 615am- 715pm everyday so when I come home i try to do wedding stuff but I'm usually to tired and fh would like a break lol. Weekends have become a schedule every we have something, I don't have a free weekend till the second week in June!! Then one well off and then something else then vacation!!! We need a little get away! But I feel like I'm missing dead lines I've set to have things done and now I'm falling behind!

Our biggest challenge has been with our families. Our families are very different and opinionated. It has not been pleasant. We keep realizing that this wedding is for them and not for us.

Our biggest challenge/stress so far has been money. Our original budget was about 9K less than our current budget because we fell in love with a venue 6K over budget, a photographer 500 over budget and realized our honeymoon budget was unrealistic. SOOOOO.... we're gonna be poor lol. The money for the wedding is not the issue. We have all the money for our wedding saved now, it's just.. where are we going to live?! Everything we save from now until the wedding will be our house fund, but I just don't know if it will be enough. We may end up renting for a year which is NOT what I want :(

My biggest challenge so far is dealing with my FMIL..it's not too bad, but she's causing me a lot of anxiety and issues with things. I'm trying to plan a food tasting and she's always telling me they won't be here on the dates I pick, like I should work around their schedule! She's also telling me I need to 'slow it down' and that I'm booking everything too far in advanced...not sure why she cares so much!

Our biggest challenge has been family, on both sides...We have the very opinionated and then the ones who never even ask a question or bring up the wedding because 'its still so far away'
