Happy Monday Everyone! I am very excited to the BOTW and I hope I can think of some good questions! Also I have only been part of LI Wedding for the past 5 BOTWs so I hope I don't repeat any questions : /
Question of the Day:
Whey you got Engaged, who is the first person you told, and how did you tell them? Did you call them, surprise them, show up at their house..etc.
My Answer:
Well I got engaged at my Mom's house in front of most of my family and FH's parents. So I didn't have to call any of the them! While my sisters took pictures and were about to go Facebook crazy posting them, I told them to wait because I had to call my Best Friend who lives in Virginia (my now MOH) I facetimed her because I wanted her to see the ring, and I'm glad she go the chance to be part of the engagement even though she lives out of state now.

i got engaged at my house...so the first person i told was my dad and sister because they were home and then i called my mom at work and told her!!

I got engaged at night so the next morning I went and got a manicure and then FH and I went to my mother's house and I said 'Hey check out my manicure!' :) she was like 'WHAT IS THAT!?!' lol

Oh man. I have the worst memory but I think my mom & stepdad were the first we called. I basically just called and said guess what?! We're engaged. We made a bazillion phone calls that night telling everyone.

We got engaged in Jamaica and the first person I called was my mother and then my brother. FH then called his parents (but they already knew) and his brother. When I got my credit card bill the 4 phone calls cost almost $400. But we had to let them know before they found out from facebook!

My parents first we called them it was on Easter so i called to say Happy Easter and to say i was engaged

FH proposed on Christmas morning. And right after he did I asked 'who knows about this?' And he basically said everyone. Haha. My entire family knew so I just texted my sister and said 'I'm engaged!' And didn't call because we were getting dressed to go over there. I think I texted a picture to my closest friends.
