QOTD 5/8

Good afternoon lovely's :O) The sun is out for a little while, but I heard it's gonna rain again, which seriously s*cks it.
So yesterday was a total man bashing day!! I think all this rain has made me into a mega b1tch.....................

So, the QOTD is this:
What is one of the nicest things FH has ever done for you, or, what are the really sweet things he does for you?

Yesterday when I came home from woodside, I had a terrible migraine (and still have it now). I was practically in tears. I had gone to CVS after I got off the train, and bought this re-usable heat wrap thing for my neck. When i got home, I took it out of the box and it was broken! I started crying because I couldn't even think of going back out to get another one. And I had just taken my medication, and it makes me drowsy. FH gave me a big hug, and took the thing back to the store for me. He had just gotten home from a very long day at work, and I'm sure he didn't want to go back out either, but he did it because I felt like hell. Then, when he got home, he made me tea, and made me dinner, and rubbed my neck. He did all of these things after having a long lousy day at work! And it's not the first time he has done it :O) He's such a sweet guy (even though he leaves his dishes on the counter, and his underwear on the floor ) I'm lucky to have him!

the thing i truly love about him the most is that he is such a gentleman

i love how he still opens the car door for me every singltime i get in

i love how when we eat dessert he scoops up all his whipped cream and puts t on mine cause he knows i looove whipped cream

i love how he came with me to se sex and the city at 10 am on opening day,was theonly guy there and didnt complain cause he knew how much i wanted to see it

when i broke my wrist he tied my shoes,combed my hair etc etc cause i was having trouble


ahh i could go on forever but its the little things that make me fal in love all over again

no one elses FH's do nice things for them???? Gina and I must be VERY lucky girls!

Fh cooks for me or takes me out to eat everyday, Last week and the week before he bought me roses after work, and last night he gave me the best massage ever.

And he watches Dancing with the stars with me which I know he probably would NOT watch on his own. lol

FH started watching 'So you think you can dance' with me, and now he LOVES that show! We saw it live and he thought it was the best thing ever!!!

Aww thats so sweet! FH says only one dance show a year and thats at the studio I work at...he hates sitting there for 5 hours just watching dances. I tell him its more entertaining than baseball and he

FH lets me drag him to Mets games all the time. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but to me it really is. He doesn't enjoy baseball, but he loves being with me, so he puts on his happy face and finds good things in our time at the stadiums. We even drove to Philly for the game last Saturday... he was a good sport about it!

It's not one specific thing, but it's his whole way of being... he told me once he loves watching me interact with other people. I think that was the nicest thing anyone ever said to me.

FH knows that the day after Valentine's day is always rough for me b/c of the death of my grandmother. so on our first v-day, he sent me roses and then the next day sent me tulips with a card that said 'remember the good ones' talking about my good memories with my grandma

Fh likes to leave little notes for me just teling me he loves me

FH does so many sweet things for me.
Let's see... he took me to see my hero Chelsea Handler and he bought me her book AGAIN (I had one) but if you bought one you got to meet her so he bought it for me while i was in the bathroom as a surprise! I thought that was sweet! I almost cried when I met her because yea.. I'm a geek like that!!!

He also takes care of me when I have a migraine.

One time he thought I was having a bad week (which I was) so he went to Kohl's (his new favorite place to shop) and bought all bathroom accessories and stuff for the house - THIS WAS HUGE!!! John isn't that type of guy and when he came home with a bathrug set it was just soooo cute! It was his first time in that section and definately his first type buying items of that sort.

He really does a lot of sweet things for me. That's why I'm going to marry him!! :D

awwwwwwww i just got misty eyed..that is too sweet

I love FH because he loves me even when I make fools of us both! Sometimes it's what FH chooses not to do that makes me love him.

My FH and I attended one of his military balls and we were going through the receiving line. (I'm sure you are all familiar that in a receiving line you aren't really supposed to stop and chit-chat, just introduce your guests, thank the hosts, and head inside.)

Well... One of the guys in the receiving line was this big-shot general, and after FH introduced me, he casually asked me if I visited West Point a lot... to which I replied, 'I used to attend here.' Why, oh why, could I not keep my mouth shut?!? He then asked why I left and I told him, 'I would be more than happy to tell you at a different time. However, I'm not sure this is the appropraite place to do so.' (I left because I didn't agree with a lot of things going on.) He then looks at my FH and says, 'Cadet _____. Oh, it's you. I saw that we will be working together this year. You can tell me about what happened when we meet on Monday.'

Ugghhh... I put FH in such a bad spot! Here he was this just trying to introduce his date and walk through the receiving line like every one else, and I messed it all up!!! Not to mention that FH is cadet which is the equivalent of a peon compared to some general.

I was terrified that FH would be fuming mad at me (which he had every right to be). But when we left, he told me that he loved me for being outspoken and that I was more important to him than any faux pas. So sweet! I almost cried! To me, his reaction spoke fathoms about the type of man he is and how much he cares for me.

One of the nicest things FH has done for me is create a photo book for me (even though I don't remember if it was for our anniversary or valentines ), called Ali and Alex, The First 3 Years, and it had pictures and a cute little story line of all the things we've done and places we've been together throughout the years. He's given me diamonds and Coach bags and Godiva and taken me to fancy restaurants...but that's the best present I've ever got from him. And it's kind of sad because our 4th year has been really rough, and it's just not like that anymore, so it's a bittersweet gift.

He also brings me random canollis or blueberry muffins or banana flying saucers or Wendy's whenever I express a craving, but that has also stopped, since I think I'm getting pudgy

Like 2 years ago I was down in the dumps because the seasons had changed and I felt like I had nothing to wear ( think we all go through this) last years clothes were more snug that I recalled and I was just not in a good mood and wasnt feeling pretty.....

When I came home from work, he had a bunch of new outfits and shoes laid out on the bed all for me. All of the things were cute and they all fit! I was so grateful and happy. He left a note saying you are beautiful no matter what but I hope this makes you feel better.

it really was one of the nicest things anyone has done for me.

where do i begin....

he just gets better every day!!!

1. He rubs my back every night until I fall asleep!!! Yes, this is true. I go to bed before him, he comes upstairs and rubs/tickles/massages my back and then goes back down stairs after I am asleep... Sometimes he falls asleep next to me.. and there he is snoring, in his clothes with all the lights on!! so cute!!

2. SOmetimes he will make me lunch for work. And he usually puts a little love note in it!!

3. He grew up in freeport, lived in elmont when we met. When we were looking to buy a house, he had no problem moving to deer park so i could be close to my mom.

4. my mom is over all the time and he is totally cool!

5. he cleans!!! he wants me to go out so he can do his thing!!!

6. when we just startd dating, he gave me the song lover lay down by dmb. he wrote out all the words and wrote little notes about how the song reminded him of me.

7. One birthday, he surprised me with a limo and took me into the city to see the tree, see the christmas spectacular and eat at wolfgangs!!

8. I love the way that we have already made a life togehter. form t.v shows to family traditions. he is my everything!!! I cant wait to marry him!!

He is so supportive and a great listener!!

I could go on and on.. but he is just the best!!
