Lets talk proposal.

Three-parter...

A) did you know know he bought a ring?
B) did you have a say in the ring?
C) did you know when he was going to ask you?

a) i knew he was working with a jeweler
b) i kind of had a say in the ring, he would ask me if i liked certain things and knew i wanted a round center stone
c) i had no idea where he was going to propose

A)didnt know he bought it
B) i gave him an idea beforehand of what i liked
C) we talked about getting married a lot so i knew he would do it sometime soon but was def not expecting it when he did it

A) Yes.....

B) Yes... but mine is just a solitaire exactly what I wanted so it wasn't that difficult for him to design

C) NOOOOOO.... that was my only thing, I didn't want to know when or how... and let me tell you it was an amazing proposal!

I was fine with living together , neither one of us want kids. So this came out of left field me. I did not hesitate one second to say YES!

We had just bought a house and I was so happy with that!!

A) did you know know he bought a ring?
no. apparently he bought it in feb 2008 and was gonna give it to me for v-day but then held off till april 2008 b/c apparently i ruined his plan LOL

B) did you have a say in the ring?
I showed him pictures of what i liked but didn't pick out the exact one he got


C) did you know when he was going to ask you?
yes i had an idea it was going to happen when it did... he made it pretty obvious when he suggested a gondola ride and i saw a big box bulging in his right pocket LOL

A) No, but I knew he had been shopping and going totally f*n nuts over the center stone. Poor guy might have given himself an ulcer over it.
B) We looked on line at settings. He and I have about the same kind of taste, so I knew it would be beautiful.
C) I knew the question would be coming but I had no idea it was going to be the day and time he did it.

A) yes i was with him when he got it.
b) yes i had a say in it i picked it out.
C) yes i knew when he was gonna ask me.

A) yes i knwo he bought it. the day he went to teh jeweler he came home excited and told me about the whole experience
B) yes and no. well i gave him the band i wanted (its my mom's old e-ring band) and i told him the shape of the stone, but then i changed my mind and said pick whatever (that didnt go over well lol)
C) not exactly. i knew he had the ring and knew it would be soon after that cuz i knew he woudlnt be able to hold out

yes im designing it. he wanted me to pick out what i want.

i knew he was going to on vacation..but... when he would start to get romantic in the water..and i didnt like the island..id swim away form him... til we were in st maarten.. the most orgeous beach... he started to get romantic.. and i didnt swim away lmao

I knew he bought a ring...I picked out my ring. I just didnt know when he was gonna ask.

I keep ruining his plans, so I obviously had no clue!!

A) did you know know he bought a ring?
I had absolutely no idea. Apparently he had been hiding it in the basement ceiling (don't ask ) for two weeks.

B) did you have a say in the ring?
Sort of. I had drawn out the design that I wanted several times (we've been together 9 years. It's come up in conversation ). BUT, when he actually went to get the ring, my mom went with him. They put together a sample of what I had drawn and my mom said absolutely not. She hated the way it looked. So they found something similar, not exact, but close enough, and I LOVE it.

C) did you know when he was going to ask you?
Yes and no. Again, getting engaged started to become a big topic of conversation over the past year or so. Back in June, he told me it would happen within the next 6 months. So I figured it would happen by New Year's. HOWEVER, he got laid off from his job the weekend before Thanksgiving, and I figured there was no way it would happen after he got laid off. I thought he'd wait until he found a new job. But he still did it anyhow, on December 20. Right before the end of the year.

1) I went with him to pick it out
2) I picked out a couple but he picked the final one
3)We picked out rings in the beginning of August and he told me he will pick one out for my birthday in November. We went on a dinner cruise on Aug 15 and he gave it to me then. I wasnt surprised that he was going to ask but was surprised it was so soon.

A) I didn't know he bought the ring
B) I absolutely did have a say in the ring lol. We went looking and i saw the perfect setting and loved it! So he drew it and brought it to another jeweler to make.
C) I knew it was going to be sometime within the next 7 months or so... not back in December! lol

b) yes. he knew the design i liked, but i thought it was out of our price range so we kept looking
c) i had no idea when. i thought once he had the ring...but since i didnt kno he bought/designed the ring on his own i was totally shocked!

A) I didn't know he had bought me a ring, i never had the clue he was soo sneaky at it he did great!!!
B) We had kind of talked about the ring i wanted a classic solitaire i've always wanted that and that's what i got!
C) I didn't have a clue when he was going to ask me i never suspected it and usually my mom is good at spilling the beans but my family and his family was really good about it they did greatttttt

-nope, i had no idea.

-not really. the once or twice we disgused it i said i prefer a round stone with six prongs.

C) did you know when he was going to ask you?
-i didn't know but i had an idea it was going to be soon. but it was sooner then i thought.

A) did you know know he bought a ring?
yes, and I knew that he had it because he kept teasing me about it and saying that he was going to throw it away

B) did you have a say in the ring?
yes, his sister took me ring shopping. I narrowed it down to a top 3 for her to show him, because I wanted to be surprised by his choice. He picked my #1 choice.

C) did you know when he was going to ask you?
I hade no idea, he completely surprised me
