Lets talk proposal.

Three-parter...

A) did you know know he bought a ring?
B) did you have a say in the ring?
C) did you know when he was going to ask you?

a - I knew he had seen the jeweler and was designing a ring on his own - I no idea he had bought it yet!

b - Yes, he only asked what cut of diamond though.

c - thought he would have asked me around x-mas or my birthday - but he completed surprised me by asking on Thanksgiving!

A) did you know know he bought a ring?

nope, he tried to trick me by showing me a Zales bag, but then he said that there was a promotion at the mall and they gave him free jewelry cleaner!

B) did you have a say in the ring?

No, didn't want to either. He is great at diamonds and jewelry so I trusted him.

C) did you know when he was going to ask you?

Kinda, because there were several weird things that led up to it. It's so hard to surprise me!

I know where he got it (his uncle is a jeweler)

I had no saying whatsoever.....we have had arguments about it coz I think he paid too much when he could've gotten me something a bit more simple and not so much bling. And it would make choosing the wedding band a bit easier.

C) did you know when he was going to ask you?
He always said that he was going to ask me, but he would say it might be next week, a year form now, or 10 years from now. So he threw me for a loop when he asked me the dinner before heading to our Vegas vacation. I didn't even see it coming.

B) did you have a say in the ring? Yes, he knew what I did and did not like, but the rest was up to him
C) did you know when he was going to ask you? Not at all. Everyone convinced me it was not gonna happen when it did, so i was shocked

1. i knew he was shopping around but didn't know he actually bought the ring

2. i had told him i wanted princess cut, but other than that i left it totally up to him...he has good taste so i trusted him...and he did a great job!

3. i had no idea he was gonna propose on our trip to mexico..esp bc we booked it like 3 days before we left so i really didnt think it would happen....surprise surprise

I wanted it all to be a surprise...But I found the ring box cleaning the apartment one day and refused to peek inside!!

C) Yes and no. Everyone said what if he asks me on vaca, and I was like, nah, he wouldn't... than he did..

A) Nope, I was completely shocked.
B) He knew that I wanted a solitaire princess cut. (Which I got)
C) No. All my pictures my head is on the floor cuz I was so shocked.

a) and c) I had an idea, he kinda was acting shady in the weeks before.
b) Yes, we would go on websites and he would ask what I liked and did not like. The type of ring I got was exactly what we talked about.

a) yes because money was missing in the savings account
b) I showed him which ones i liked and he picked and bought my fav
c)absoulty not the money was missing like 3 months before he actually asked me i was in suspense til then dumb FH

B. I said years ago I wanted a solitare ring when I got engaged (& I did)

C. Had no clue...was speechless in the freezing cold..it was amazing

One night at my friends b-day party, after having way too many drinks, he told me he was going to propose to me on Valentines day but I just passed it off as an alcohol induced romantic hour long speech. But I received a pleasant surprise on Valentines morning!! I was so happy, it was great!
