QOTD 6/10/14

Good morning ladies! Guess I'm BOTW this week even though I'm a 2016 bride and feel like a fraud lol. If anyone wants to do it next week please let me know!

So.. Today's question is about time... How long is your engagement? Are you having a long engagement? Short engagement? Why? How long have you and FH known each other? Tell us your story :)

FH and I met in 7th grade so going on 12 years now lol. We've been on again off again since then but on again for the last 2.5 years. We got engaged this past November and are getting married in August 2016.. So almost 3 years we'll be engaged by the time we say I do! We're having a long engagement for financial reasons. FH is in grad school and it hoping to finish with his MBA in accounting in December 2015 from Hofstra. We both when to college for teaching (*rolls eyes*) and couldn't find jobs. That's life though! So were waiting and saving and hopefully we'll buy a house within a year of getting married (hopefully before but I won't hold my breath lol)

We're having a 2 year engagement, we wanted a long engagement. Got engaged September 2013 getting married October 2015. Me and FH met in 2009 we used to work together and we just hit it off and have been in love ever since.

We got engaged July 2013 so we r having an 18 months engagement. We dated 7 yrs before we got engaged and have known each other for probably about 10.....I think lol

I have known FH for 5 years. We got engaged in 2013 and originally planned on getting married in 2014. We had a couple of setbacks so changed our date to 2015. Things happen for a reason and it kinda allowed us to take a step back and enjoy being engaged for a little while.
By the way, you are not a fraud.

We dated for 5 years prior to getting engaged and will have just over a 2 year engagement. I would have loved to get married in 2014 but I wanted to wait until this past Jan to start planning (we got engaged in Oct, moved in Nov and then it was the holidays)

We were together a little under 4 years when we got engaged. We got engaged last July so our engagement will be a little bit under two years before the wedding. The longer engagement helped give us time while I was finishing up school before we had to really get started with big planning.

FH and I got engaged December of 2012 and our wedding is September of 2015. we met online and were dating for 2 years before we got engaged. we decided on 2015 due to me being in school(done in December woohoo cant wait!!)

First off, I love the fact that you're BOTW!!!

FH and I got engaged in December 2013 and are getting married October 2015 (so about two years) we wanted to move in together and get settled, which we have since the engagement.

We met back in 2003 but didn't start dating until 2011. We were dating almost 3 years before we got engaged.

FH and I have been dating since 2007..we got engaged in July 2013 and will getting married April 2015 so almost a 2 year engagement! We wanted to save some money and take time planning the wedding so we didn't feel rushed.
